i like my steak extremely rare - so much so in fact that the steak is still part a living cow and the cow's still grazing happily away at its grass. yeah, that's right, i'm vegetarian. so your saying you don't want to eat it all? nice, mindrape btw! by making the reading think that you wouldn't eat something as putrid as a semi-steak, you clearly proven your dedication towards vegetarianism.

Well, well, well done. I HAVE to have mine completely dry, hard, and burnt on the outside. If I see any pink or taste any tender barely cooked meat I will barf.

I like it burnt and crispy SMOTHERED in Tabasco sauce. Not a fan of Chicken, Watermelon (bland much?!), or most soul foods...but Hot sauce is where the stereotype kicks in.

That's like salt & pepper to me, dude. I don't even think it's that hot. Then again, I have been known to eat habanero peppers whole without flinching and I could practically drink a shot of battery acid, so nothing's hot to me. But yeah, Tabasco sauce rocks. Do you carry a bottle with you whenever you go out to eat? I do, and my friends think it's weird.

Well-done (bw medium and crispy)
best way to cook a steak imho...can't forget the hot sauce, though!

Like Dave's Insanity Sauce? I'll admit, I'm a big wuss when it comes to hot sauce. My favs are Sriracha, Tapatio and McIlhenny's Chipotle Tabasco sauce. Nothing over the top. I usually leave my steak sans sauce (esp if it's been rubbed with spices or other kind of meat rub -- *giggle*).

Im not that great with spicy/hot foods either, but the delicious taste of Tabasco sauce makes sacrificing the comfort of my tongue that much easier. \ Do you carry a bottle with you whenever you go out to eat? I do, and my friends think it's weird. And I thought this only happened in sitcoms haha. I would probably do the same if guys could carry purses.

I love medium rare. It strikes the balance between tenderness of rare and cheweyness of welldone.

Gross.
But I bought ostrich sirloin yesterday, and I'm probably gonna tone it down to medium just to get a real taste of it.

Blue. High heat. 20-30 seconds each side and hot english mustard at hand. Perfect.
