@ Selina: Oh man...what's not to like about T'pol? Actually, one of the few bits of Enterprise that I've seen was the gratuitous sex scene between her and that one dude. There's a Scot at work who loves Dr. Who. He's got one of those remote control Daleks and a light up Tardis. I've watched a few episodes and enjoyed them all, although I don't make a point to watch every episode... I loved the Matrix when it came out. Not too hot on the sequels. They're not unwatchable, but I think they lost of the spirit of the first one.

i know you were beng facetious, but she totally rocked it! Jolene Blalock has such drop-dead gorgeous bone structure the bowl cut actually looked good on her.she really is a stunning woman, and surprisingly,i don't like long hair on her.

Any Starship Troopers fans here? It's one of my favourite films, along with the Matrix and Alien sagas. I found the story quite deep on many levels on top of being a futuristic action film with superb special effects - especially of a high standard for 1997. Exciting and fast, not for the faint-hearted as there's a fair deal of gore and suffering. What intrigued me most was the hidden messages in the story, so many of them ambiguous. It's sort of a question as to whether this society is utopian or dystopian. Personally I was extremely satisfied with the sex equality attitude of the whole film. Haven't seen the sequel spin-offs (there are two, the last one made recently) because I heard they're rubbish and not at all like the first one. guess i should clarify (being a hetero female and all) that when i said i liked T'pol,i meant her character, not her tits haha. @selina Kyle - guess what, I thought Dina Meyer was so stunningly hot in Starship Troopers, and I'm a hetero female too! Funny how we have girlcrushes...

^ The movies or the series? The series was absolutely awesome. The movies, especially the last one, not so much.
Oh, I saw the Starship Troopers sequel and it was AWFUL. It was direct to video. We worked on some of the sound here, and the sound designers were wincing. Heh. Hadn't seen the third one, but I guess it has some of the original actors (AND Jolene Blalock -- convo comes full circle).

Both. I used to watch the series when I was 5 or 6. I loved the first movie... Haven't watched the second yet, but I'm worried because it's PG. The DVD series was on sale in this shop for $10 a season for a while before 'Californication' and the 2nd movie came out. Glad I scooped them up then 'cause now they're back to $60!
