Mr Evil Long: I don't think I'm cut out for this evil racket.. I need your help and inspiration, or perhaps you could just take over the low-road for me.
Men are very sneaky that way, to avoid an inevitable confrontation they work around and avoid sh*t that really should be dealt with first thing.
Hahaha, I was just dealing with a guy like this. He told me I was the one afraid of confrontations and end up being the one chickening out time after time when we were supposed to meet for a face to face confrontation.

Long: I like hearing others opinions, I guess I just disagree. I don't think I'm fugly but if I'm as attractive as you make me out to be then I should be fending off guys left, right and centre, which I'm not. I'm very ordinary and I don't think there's anything about my looks that would be attractive. I'm not looking for a compliment but I guess it just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder
That said there is this one creep at work that everyone hates (let's just call him John). He works in a different department but he is such a creep!! He thinks he is so goddamn irresistible but the truth is every woman wants to vomit in his presence. I don't know why but he feels the need to say my name and a greeting every friggin time he sees me in the hall. I do my best to avoid him, don't respond to him and on the unfortunate occasions where he comes and sits near me at lunch and starts talking to me I like to mention how old he is (he says he's in his early 30s but he looks at least 10 years older than that). The guy makes my skin crawl. I think I've given him more than a hint that I want him to f*** off. One of these days I'm just gonna snap and knee the f***er in the crotch.

^there's probably a mutual disappointment. i think on the whole people's expectations are far too high these days. all human beings are deficient in some (usually) essential way.
i blame marketing.
i'll give you an example. last night a family friend had delivered to their house a massive HD television to replace their old one. the child in the house (13yo.) far from being happy about this event, actually was on the verge of tears when you realised that it wasn't 'crystal' clear-and lo and behold, still contained some elements of grain. he had been led to believe that you receive a perfectly clear picture, and insisted to his parents to get teh experts in to sort the matter out.
There are things I wish I could see happen these days: 1. I would kill to see a man serenade a woman 2. It would be nice to see a man pull out a chair for a woman and help seat her at the dinner table. 3. Do men kiss women's hands anymore?
It's the little things that count and now those little things are no where to be found.
LOL. Maybe I don't meet many men with manners....maybe that's really all that's missing.
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" --- "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
i think a degree of chivalry is pretty standard stuff. it will be a sorry day when the anti-social retards already being bred from over-'neticisation' lose sight of that fact.
