i just got my heart severely bruised aswell! It hurts really bad. Though it was really painful at first, I still didn't want to get over him, i just hoped he would have a change of heart. Now,I can't wait to get over this guy, Everybody says I will in time, but it feels like it's never gonna happen.

But you have to suffocate it with many, many quarts of Breyer's Rocky Road ice cream, innumerable hours of Call of Duty 4, and maybe a few high dollar electronics purchases.

are you serious? why not use something blunter then... i think the time to get over something depends on the degree of caring, some exs i got over the next day, another took years.

Meh, I was a bit of a nut-case when I was younger, a pyromaniac, blood-painter, I even used to sharpen knives and test it on myself, so slicing myself up is nothing to me. Sharp-edge ones don't necessarily hurt, they just itch like crazy.
Also used to smack myself with a metal pole to harden up my forearms/thighs for fights, and punching brick walls so I wouldn't recoil at knuckle pain. Young days, meh I feel old now

Heh young days, even though we did stupid things only once you get older you'll realise it really is the 'prime of your life'. In July, my youth will be officially over!

1st week = Pain 2nd week = Anger 3rd week to 2 months = Memories It passes, time heals all wounds People say 'time heals all wounds', but why do I still feel sad after 8 years!?!? My best friend and I never went out, silly me turned him down without realising because back then when I was a first yr uni student I was still young and navie. Then when we graduated, I realised he was probably THE ONE for me, but I have missed that chance because he is with someone now and has pretty much stopped talking to me (I may get a reply once every so often but that is it), and my heart just wont let me move on and give other guys a chance! Everytime I meet someone I like, even before getting into a relationship with them, I start to miss my old best friend and all the memories keep flooding back to me! I have a busy life, too busy sometimes but that doesnt stop me from thinking about him and missing those happy happy times we spent together! Why cant I get over him!?
