So Which of the Mythical Trolls of EAN would you Summon from the Phantom Zone? Aki - if she didn't overdo it and kill herself off. Not high class trolling but it had a flavor. The gore was a nice touch.  |

Aki was certainly a legend. I tried to meet up with that person-thing in Tokyo but he/she flaked (as usual)
i miss MWTBLLTR/wolf.... the 49 year old neo-con/army reserve vet masquerading as a 12-yr old girl.
and how can we forget about MaguS/Batman/Proxy/Americasian and the countless other hard-up 22-yr zit-infested boys that come to EAN looking for e-play, talk a big game and fall on their faces!
*sigh* the good ol days.

Aki was certainly a legend. I can't remember his name exactly, but he was horrible. One of the reasons I stopped coming here very often. Maybe his name started with an M? Anyone remember? He was the first major troll that I can recall.

He was the first major troll that I can recall. That's the real problem with trolls. While they do provide entertainment for some people here, they chase other people away. Some people pull back from visiting and posting, and other people just leave for good. Most of the time, there are no complaints, just quiet resignation. Ban a troll, however, and someone is SURE to complain about it. It takes a lot of time to deal with trolls - you have to do a lot of research with old posts, cross-linking IPs (and other traceables), and look at things like login proximity, spelling, diction, syntax, punctuation anomalies and preferences, etc., thread focus, user tailgating. Let me tell you, it's exhausting. 95% of the work moderators do you never see. Anyway, the trolling threshold has been changed. We're going to act quickly, decisively, and before too much destruction gets done. |

Anyway yes my real name is Chris, Iris actually made my old account personally (FACT) but I decided to make a new account to make fresh (hopefully relevant) posts and like I said, to mix and mingle, that's all.
