I dont think I have any Asian culture to pass on Children who get to know parts of their Asian culture and language and have other Asian relatives are lucky in my eyes! I think it takes a strong person to pass on this and to keep it alive. You can give your kids an Asian middle name. That's a start, no?

I have to take offense at all the assumptions I've read about 1/4 asians not looking asian? I wouldn't much so say such assumptions are offensive, but more so naive. It doesn't surprise me to see 3/4white-1/4asians who look mostly-to-full white. That's the case with most of the ones I've seen. That said, genetics isn't always so predictable. One can see that by looking at my maternal extended family for example. I have cousins who are 3/4white1/4asian; they look clearly mixed, perhaps leaning more on the asian side even. Then you have me, 3/4asian1/4euro, in which the general consensus is I look mixed for being mostly asian. Some of my older cousins have children who are 5/8-3/8, 7/8-1/8, and likewise, more variation among us. Looks aside, those aforementioned cousins who are predominantly white know little to nothing of their Asian, despite their mom being fluent in Vietnamese. Then again, they seem to know little to nothing of the outside world in general They've been homeschooled all their lives(one is 22 now, the other is 16), have never had friends before, never worked a day in their lives, live in a middle-of-nowhere bayou town in Louisiana, so you can imagine how their social development(or lack thereof) has become, but that's a whole nother story in of itself. Regardless of the ethnic percentages of my future hypothetical children, I'd like to pass on whatever I can of my heritage(s), ideally raising them in a fairly diverse multicultural area.

I have an Asian middle name too ;D Also I dont think I have a real cultural identity, cause being EA (my looks) and living in different coutries and learning some of other languages Just not my own Asian language....

I don't have Asian culture to pass down to my future kids either (that's if i don't marry an asian man! ) . my mum know's nothing about Asian culture, not even my 1/2 Asian Grandparents know anything about Asian culture (both of my mum's parents are "hapa" or w/e), so I didn't really stand a chance.

Just show your kid the ninja turtles, they'll be hooked on Asian culture. Now that I think about it, the ninja turtles are awesome for EA kids. They act both western and eastern at different times.
