I'm thinking East meets West.
- Chicken Ball burger with secret sweet and sour sauce - Spring roll fries - Carbonated Green Tea pop
Serious and not so serious posts welcomed.
edit from juniper:i know you were being facetious, but there was just no need for that.

Not really my idea, but something I indulge in regularly, is the Hawaii "plate lunch": Two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and teriyaki beef, chicken or pork cutlet. and the Spam musubi:

Groink: Must be purchased from a lunchwagon. The place I used to go has been there for at least 30 years. They went through a name change -- used to be Inn & Out. The burger chain must've got to them. Now they're Lum's Inn. Same people. Gives me great comfort to know they are still there.

OO also I like eating roast potato and rice together with any sauce. (I love satay so that would probably do) It's carblicious

Love the fact the rice is overcooked and likely cold as well - authentic stuff!!! Groinkers - you gonna be in HI this summer? I'm heading over for my cousins wedding in July. If you're around, let's do the carbo dance! oh, and my aunt just opened up HI's first Yogen Fruz (got a bunch more coming onstream this summer).... so got us some sweet hook-ups !!! ;D

my aunt used to cook us fried spam and egg with baked beans and rice - thats kinda EA meal i guess..
spam tastes.. like fatty ham i guess, a bit spongey texture too? I dont like it and prefer corned beef, which is also a very love/hate type of food.

I think spam is alright, but I'm with helles - corned beef is much better and I really like it with rice. It goes well with diced potato and onions added in. edit: this one looks more like it

Juni! Omg. Well, there are FAR worse things to get on you about than your lack of consumption of Spam. Corned beef hash is nice, too. Okay, I'm going to go buy a can. @ Rob: Dunno when I'll go back to Hawaii. It was sort of an ex-gf excursion. Not sure how much fun I'll be crying in the sand.
