Well unlike most EANers I've only dated eurasian gals. Even though I've been attracted to other ethnicities, maybe the fact that I lived most of my life in the suburbia with little ethnic diversity made me very aware of race and way too much attracted to people with whom I can share similar experiences and somehow really look Eurasian.
Off topic, Emily you're in Lyon, that's surprising ?!

My girlfriend (actually fiancee) is mainland Chinese, though belonging to the Hui ethnic group. I've alway gone out with Chinese girls, though have been with one EA girl - she was Chinese too. The others were Taiwanese, Honky, BBC and another mainlander.
I've never had preferences based a racial grounds (though it clearly appears that I have!) - having lived in China for 10 years somewhat limited the possibilities. I think that cultural familiarity is my strongest guiding principal; she'd preferably be familiar with aspects of Chinese and British culture.
Having said that, the girl I'm with now is probably the most culturally distant from me from among my previous girlfriends. We've been together 4 years now, so obviously we've fostered a bond that goes far beyond culture.

Haha, thanks!!
It's been pretty traumatising actually. She wanted to announce it on facebook, and I told her that I wanted to let people know in person first - then she said 'oh go on...', like she does. And like I do, I say 'oh ok then...'
Before I knew it, there were a gazillion well wishers crashing my facebook profile. That was a few months ago, and I was so overwhelmed by the response that I've not been back to facebook since!

Heh if you think that's bad with big news - try SMS!!!!
Especially when your mobile doesn't have a "Delete All Messages" option, I have spent weeks deleting them one by one.

German redhead. I figured out that I love redheads, but there not enough go around. (Freckles weren't so much of an issue for me.) I don't know if I'd date an Asian woman from Asia--a bit too reserved when transplanted in Western culture. I guess Asian women are for making babies and redheads are for having fun.

I'm not in a relationship but I would tend to go for other Eurasians.

Heh yeah but Siberia is really underpopulated and non-rich soil. Most Slavics prefer to live close to Europe. My grandmother lives a rather quiet life in Siberia, it's originally territory for the more peaceful Turkic and Tunguistic nomadic tribes. Unlike their warlike cousins to the south (Us) or west (Turkish) Tight I don't know if I'd date an Asian woman from Asia--a bit too reserved when transplanted in Western culture. I guess Asian women are for making babies and redheads are for having fun. This must be your version of the Jew's shiksa/goy toy: "they're just for practice." lol Naw, I'm just picking on ya. The exotic redhead thing must only work on women. I've never seen a faintly attractive man with a full head of red hair. Danny Bonaduce, Howdy Doody, and Carrot Top (oh lord) don't really help it either.

^ It's same on Mars. Guys don't think women find redheads attractive either. Methinks having red hair contradicts an element of tall, dark, and handsome. Enough to not ever have to fight over one. Everyone belongs to everyone else.

I got a question for those who are married or gonna marry soon. My question is how do you know when you are ready to settle down or tied the knot??
I'm gonna be 29 this year still swing bachelor, dated alot of girls but all non serious relationship. Recently my best bud got hitch and most of my high school and collage either married or engaged and i still single with no string attach.
And i kind of having dreams of settle down and with kids nowadays. I thought that pregnant women are at the most beautiful stages of their life, as they carried a life onto this world. So I'm wondering do you guys experience like this before or is it just me?? Hope you guys would want to share with this guy who is clueless regarding marriage or in a serious relationship.
