I'm the very opposite (like you ) and also competitive at the same time, and thinking to know why. Does is make sense to you ? My free true response ;D

i am... but i'm not.
i rarely get into anything competitive -work, sport, guys, games etc. out of maybe laziness/laid back-ness, but if i do, i want to do well, not necessarily the best, but up there.

I can be very competitive if it is something I truly care or feel passionate about. Other than that I couldn't care less.
I have one friend who is a nice guy but if it is claimed that anyone is better than him at something, he will go mental. I hope I never become like that.

Yes. I'm very competetive, but I don't see it as a negative thing. I'm a good sport.

I hate interactions from clowns and mimes too. Mascots are also extremely irritating.

haha,it's my dirty little secret.people who know me well would never believe it because i'm pretty easygoing, but i have an extremely competitive streak.luckily it's not a dominant part of my personality and i'm not obnoxious about it,but well...to some degree,i like competitions and i like winning them.though oly in specific areas.tests of skill, athleticism, professional stuff, etc.would never be into competing for a man,for instance. can't believe i'm admitting this.

I'm competitive in that I want to be better than everyone at everything, but I usually don't wear it on the outside and over the years I've learned to accept that you can't really be the best at anything. I like winning in sports and other games but I don't get upset if I lose (unlike some friends of mine). I think growing up and being the older brother I must have been insufferably competitive and domineering, but that has tempered with age. These days I mostly just set high goals for myself, and try and see things in an absolute standard rather than a relative one (so I'm happy to see others do well).

I'm becoming extremly competitive when my competitor is a nordic white guy ;D. But we all like us, they know that I'm secretly jealous of them and that this is the reason why I want to conquer them so bad Don't ask me why, I'm always exploding when a blonde guy gets a better mark in school than me or when they are better in sports.

hahah.
im super competitive in a friendly kind of way. i wont rub it in if i win or be a sore loser, but i dont like losing. pretty much exactly what beta said except i always seem to taper off once im in the top 10%. once ive proven i can be in that upper echelon i just stop caring. its weird.

I enjoy a little healthy competition. For example, if in class I meet someone who is a little irritating I might use that as an incentive to try and kick their arse in the final exams.
Aside from that I am too easygoing and even a little careless. I just realised yesterday that I threw out my plane ticket...I thought it was a piece of junk on my desk. Turns out I was wrong.

I've never been. Almost the complete opposite actually.. Uncompetitive on an abnormal level. And I think I figured out why -- growing up with fussy siblings can wear a person out of that sort of thing. Getting constant "WTF?" moments of someone trying to outdo you can make you weary of it elsewhere. Anyone feel the same or is that just me? Not to say competitiveness is wrong. It's all good. Feel free to say whatever here. I'm exactly the same... very uncompetitive. A couple of my closest friends are the opposite who try and compete with me over everything and i don't realise until they say something like 'ha! i beat you!'
