Early morning shifts are the worst, like today... in 1 hr. I'm lucky to even have had 4 hours sleep last nite.

I think Robyn posted about the sleeping habits of her boyfriend in the ranting thread a while back. And I have the exact same. I go to bed around 4 AM and wake up around 12 or 1 PM. It's awful and I want to change it but I can't wow ... I have the same thing....I also can't help it...or when I go to sleep...and I have this idea...i just have to get it out of my system...even if it means that i have to skip a night ...but I really have to change it...it's not healthy Misschien moeten we niet zo vaak op internet zitten en gewoon naar bed gaan But yeah that sucks. It's just physically impossible for me to fall asleep before 4 AM. I am always wide awake. And like Sadakiyo, I also worry a lot at night which affects the quality of my sleep. It wasn't always like this but it started around the time when I lost my brother a few years ago. I had a lot of nightmares and didn't want to go to sleep. I was a wreck during that time but I do sleep a little better now.

^ja he...eigenlijk wel..whahaha....die poep is werkelijk te verslavend But I know what you feel I lost my mother...the first week after the funeral ...I just couldn't go to sleep...It was my last year at school and I want to get my degree ...I worried too much...and still thinking about my mom...after a week without any sleep ...I just vomit at a train station and passed out...it was the scariest moment ever.... anyway ...you need your sleep eventually ....and your brother didn't passed away too make your life miserable....don't worry too much...I know for sure your brother is watching over you from up above!

I go to sleep around 4 am, it started when I 1st came to London. My body wasn't use to the 4 hr time difference, so i'd just stay on my cpu until I got tired...and it hasn't changed. during Uni times I only get around 5 hours sleep, set my alarm to wake me up literally half hour before class and rush there. Other times I just sleep until 11 am - 1 pm. I really want it to change, I miss out on a lot of things that happen in the earlier part of the day. But back home, since my body is still use to bermuda times (even after 7 MONTHS!!) I have a normal sleep pattern. I knockout around 12 am and wake up around 8 am...sometimes earlier!

I say 8-9 hrs is the optimal amount of sleep for me daily. Anymore and my head would get dissy. Too little sleep (under 7 hours) and I ll feel very easily agitated.

I always find them when I'm awake I want to go to bed but vice versa I usually spend 30 mins just thinking about the days and worrying if necessary ... but I usually sleep uninterrupted all the time

I definitely need to sleep more than I do right now (I only average about 6-7 hours of sleep). Then again, most ppl nowadays are suffering from the lack of sleep.
Speaking of which, I think this thread is a repeat of a thread I made on the exact SAME topic!

Despite needing more rest, I only sleep 4h30 hours a night. I used to have trouble falling asleep a few years ago even to the point I could not sleep at all because I was too anxious of not falling asleep quickly enough but now it happens almost as soon as I lay in my bed because of a hectic lifestyle.
