People often claim that Asians are a model minority group and kiss white ass but I know a lot of South East Asians (Japanese, Koreans, Chinese ethnics) feel superior to other races even Westerners (white carpet slur) because they often attain higher education, lower crime rates, better income and their home civilizations are very advanced.
What do you think?

Ever experienced bigotry towards certain ethnic groups?
Even if I want to believe I'm open-minded and all I can't refrain myself to be prejudiced against the overwhelming FOB underclass immigrants in Europe. That's what happens when there's so few selective barriers.

Ganbare, I've been there, done that. There are still others in the community of Mongols, Turks, Hungarians, Finns, ethnics in Russia who feel superior to all other so-called "civilised" ethnic groups both in Europe and Asia. Some supremists are isolated to their particular ethnic, others unite behind the ideal of the nomadic warrior. Others despise racialism and uphold traditional non-racialist culture on the steppes. Then there are those who use this aspect and promote ethnocentrism.
I still have that supremist side to me, which thanks to my wife and daughter I have managed to bury it for the meantime within my household while seeking counselling for the sake of welfare of my daughter who I love so much.
My wife (gf at the time) in the past was always at the point of my blade when it comes to my racist supremacist ideals, she represented two races which I despised the most. I hated Chinese and I hated Swedish so deeply I could not see them as humans. I saw only demons.
Over time I found excuses to drive her up the wall but despite my prejudice she stole my heart from the very first moment I saw her.
I hated the imperialistic Chinese who continue their oppression and assimilation in Tibet, East Turkistan, Dzungaria (my motherland), and Tsahar Mongolia... but yet now my wife is my Mulan, and I love her. I hated Swedish and their shameless views on their genocide of the Saami and Soumi as well as their past dehumanisation of Russians as "Mongoloids" just to justify political conquest - not only that but they seem to continue their pathetic supremist ideals to this day. Yet, my wife is still my Valkyrie, and I love her. I guess I can be what you can consider a "reverse-racist" in the past.
Unlike me... my wife never ONCE judged me by my ethnic. Her persistence, integrity, and faith showed me how pathetic such a mentality really is.
In the end I've come to realise how INFERIOR I really am compared to my wife. She's much stronger, intelligent, and much more moral. If there's any superiority whatsoever in humanity I would say it's down to an individual basis, and to me my wife is superior to all these f--kwits including myself. (though she hates the term herself and denies it - sorry but I can't hold back such deep respect for her)
Superiority and inferiority rides a thin line, I learnt that the hard way. Best to get rid of both, and better yet, get rid of racialism itself from your mind and your household. F--K IT!

Maybe it was not such a good idea to discuss 2 very different topics.
Interesting experience, glad some people are honest about it.

What do you think? I think that reminds me of Jone Lone's speech in "Year of the Dragon" where he talks about Chinese civilization being far advanced while Europeans were living in caves. I looked for a clip but could not find it. The female lead in that, btw, was Eurasian - Ariane Koizumi (Japanese/Dutch).

There is so much more variation within than across races/cultures in different kinds of "achievement" that it has always struck me as rather silly. I mean, why make such a big deal out of average differences? And why should any person take credit for an entire history that preceeded them that they had nothing to do with? And why do they care so much about differences in group averages, and then take arbitrarily large groups (Asian? White?) that ignore huge differences across nation, region, age, language, socioeconomic status, etc.?
To a large extent racial supremacy has been replaced by cultural supremacy or at best cultural relativity (separate but equal), but even there I think that variation within cultures far outweights variation in average behavior across cultures. To put it another way, poor stupid Asian criminals have a lot more in common with poor stupid white and black and hispanic criminals than they do with rich white Asian software engineers.

Just another proof that all humans want or need to feel superior When there is little resources (food, mates, land etc) this need becomes big and evil!

The ideals of supremacy differs from region to region, ideals to ideals, nations to nations, etc...
It can be also be a result of fear or hate, rather then just the desire to 'feel superior' - even both. For example, an individually pathetic person could use the ideals of racial supremacy to psychologically aid him to elevate his own poor self-esteem.
Hitler has done just that on a national level, with the Allies imposing inferiority, poverty, neglect, and blame on the German people with the Versailles treaty post-WWI, Hitler used supremist ideology to rally the people to his cause. As much as he is hated, part of me still admires a lot about his character. Evil perhaps, but the truth is he has done some good as well in his lifetime by rebuilding Germany. There is FAR more evil then just Hitler. Ne ways let me elaborate.
Many nationalists, feel supremist by moral decree. Such supremacy can also be used to justify certain deeds. For example, part of me still sees the Pashtun people as inhuman sub-breeds due to their continual prejudice and past as well as recent attempts to genocide the Hazara people. It's a title earned. And I don't blame Islam for it, I look straight on at the Pashtuns. Defiling an ancient religion in such a shameless manner just adds more reason for me to despise them. Not to mention Hazaras are Islamic too.
When ideals of supremacy comes to that, and if it deepens enough, it becomes much more complicated. It's a human quality to stand up for those in need, but unfortunately sometimes this gets way out of hand to the point that you become the very enemies you despise - that's what happens with this kind of supremacy. You end up hurting those around you as well, including those you care about.
It is one thing to be proud about your ancestry, it's one thing to be angry over inhuman ACTS done by certain individuals, but it's another to justify immoral deeds by race alone - something I'm guilty of. And unfortunately, unlike other ethnics; Whenever I met an Afghan refugee, I deliberately asked if he is Pashtun or not. I tend to be very rude hoping to instigate another fight. Even though I don't meet many Pashtuns, my counsellor is currently trying to find me a Pashtun family to rid me of this prejudice - as it's apparently not healthy to harbor such hate.
Forgiveness is one the hardest things to accomplish. As you can see, supremacy can be a complicated matter. Like the rest of the world, sometimes things are rather grayish... supremist against supremists, heh, fighting fire with fire. Meh, life sometimes makes no sense nowadays.

Prejudice knows no borders. And in a similar vein, neither do ideas of supremacy. In my experience I've sometimes been perceived as being inferior to the typical Hong Kong Chinese person because I'm not culturally and physically "pure" enough. Despite being bred here I've been told on multiple occasions that I look like I can't speak or read Chinese. For a long time it felt like society was denying me the right to identify as a Chinese person because I just didn't fit the bill - which is ridiculous considering that I'm not even 1/4 Euro.

But most people think they are better than everyone else, regardless of race.
"deep down in every proud western asian there is an asian supremist" If you are saying that deep down in every asian supremist there is an asian supremist, you are probably right. But pride and supremacy aren't the same thing. A lot of people buy into the "separate but equal" or "we're really all the same" ideology instead of hierarchical thinking. Certainly the Western Asians who are buddhists wouldn't buy into ideas of racial supremacy, it's so contrary to their basic philosophy.
Though one of my favorite all time movie quotes (I can't remember which one) is this old Asian guy saying: "My ancestors were drinking tea while yours were still swinging from trees"

^This is a wrong statement. As Betahat said pride and supremacy are 2 different things. I'm proud of being EA but I don't think we are superior to any other group, the lack of meaningful personalities or contributions in the arts, humanities or sciences fields might even lead us to think Eurasians are inferior!
I've known Western anti-assimilation Asians, integrated Asians and assimilated ones. The only group we can reasonably call supremacist is the the first one and even in this group some of them remain segregated for practical or lazy reasons rather than believing in the superiority of their race. That said, I admit anti-assimilationist immigrants sending their kids back to their home country, failing to speak proper English despite having immigrated decades ago are growing in North America but what do you expect? Travelling has never been so cheap, similarly staying connected with your home country's culture via information technology and ethnic ghettos so easy. Blame laxist multicultural government policies allowing this not people, after all it is only natural for them to refuse the slightest degree of acculturation.
