Mostly caucasian, people are usually surprised when they find out.. I think I had like 3 people in my whole life ask me... some do say they can see it once they know, though.
My brother in contrast looks rather asian, or at least definitely mixed.

Hard to say, it could go either way.

Hmmm I think this would be great in the dissection thread. I think you have a Caucasian face shape/structure and skin tone, but your features are more Asian to me.

The lady at the post office asked me why I have a part-Chinese last name today. I told her that I am part Chinese. And she's like really? Is your mom or dad Chinese? I told her my mom and she got all giddy because she's Chinese. Then she's like "I think you look more Caucasian than Chinese" and I'm like "really!??!" (The bus driver on the bus the other day for some reason asked me if I'm Chinese and for my nationality .) She's like yeah "I think you look maybe 35% Chinese; I think it is only your nose that gives it away." (Cause my nose is pretty fleshy and button-like and most white people have straight, slightly upturned, pointy, structured noses.) Then we had a pretty good conversation about Hong Kong. I think the people in line behind me were pretty ticked off cause we kept talking. I caught a lot of attention. ;3 I always get race questions from people. I guess I don't mind, but I'm offended when that is the first thing they ask me and I barely know them. At least I got to know this post office lady a few times before this because I am a frequent post office visitor. However, I felt really awkward when the bus driver sat down next to me when the bus was empty and asked me for my race the other day. Wow that was creepy. =/

Yeah, in a lot of the places I've lived most people would just assume you're Asian. Wrong thread for this, but are you part Japanese? As for me, I've been told it fluctuates with my weight. -Asian Sensation

Ahh, looks like my EADAR is off. If you'll believe me, Viet was my other guess.
Sometimes the differences can be very subtle. Somebody with experience in this topic might be able to spot the difference, but to somebody unfamiliar it's all just calculus.

yeah where i live alot of people are surprised when i tell them im mixed. i dont think i look completely asian but people think so. im actually part viet and a quarter dutch. So are you 3/4 viet-1/4 dutch? I(and my brother) are a similar mix, but our European part is French. He looks like dad's side and could pass as 100% Asian. I look like mom and generally identify as EA. There's been much variation on what people have described of my looks, it's hard to say. Some people think I look 100% Asian and can't see the European in me, whereas some people say I look 100% Euro and can't see the Asian in me. I've also had guesses that I was latina or mediterranean. It can also vary based on what I tell/they know. For example, I had these guys(latino and white) ask me "what type of hispanic are you?" "actually I'm not latina at all. I'm a mix of Vietnamese and French, but alot of mixed euro/Asian people can easily get mistaken for latino, so it's not unusual." At the time, that movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" had just come out and then they were saying "you look like a japanese geisha." It's like even though my looks hadn't changed at all, I magically went from "some kind of hispanic" to "japanese geisha" within a few minutes

^ Now that you mention it, I think you do look like a geisha (at least from your profile pic) because of the shape of your pretty red lips and your soft round face

My point was that, even though my looks hadn't changed one bit, I instantly went from latina to japanese in their minds simply after I told them that I was part Asian. After having gotten questions so many times about my ethnicity from random strangers, I figured I mess with them and lie about my ethnicity, see their reactions. Some never knew my real ethnicity. Because my name is French and some of them knew I was from New Orleans, they'd ask me if I had Creole or black in me, in which I'd tell them yes, and they'd believe me. Granted, I am of French descent, but not any Creole. It's really something, what people will think or believe about you based solely on what you tell them(and not what they initially perceive).

Ironically, I feel I look more Asian after I gained more weight. My chubbier face makes me look more Asian. It seems like the skinnier you are the bigger your eyes look. lol

^ That's why the eyes of babies look so huge, because their heads are small.
I actually don't know what I look more like sometimes. It depends on so many different things. Today someone asked me if I'm from Russia. Then came another strange ordeal with another guy:
*Attempts to get in elevator*
Me: Excuse me; Thank you.
Guy (suddenly says out of the blue): "I bet I know what you are."
Me: *doesn't say anything* (In my head I'm like...uh? excuse me?)
Guy: Are you Filipino?
Me: *No answer*
Guy: Or are you Austrian?
Me: (In my head I'm really thinking wtf...)
It is so awkward when people keep speculating on your race ALL the time when you don't know them at all and question it. It happens so often with me at least. I guess I'm one of those really racially ambiguous ones to some people.
