One afternoon while we were riding the subway home a friend of mine found a lost cellphone, he proceeded to find the owner's landline and called. Turns out it was a woman, my friend has a particularly deep voice because of excessive smoking, he works as a voice over actor for local television channels, the girl recognized his suave voice and it apparently sparked her interest. The next day, they met in order to exchange the cellphone but it quickly turned into a date and they've been dating ever since.
I have a lot of stories airport-related but I'm behind work so I'll probably share them later on.
Are the best relationships accidental? Share yours.

"Are the best relationships accidental?" - you'll never find evidence to prove (or disprove) that. By accidental, do you mean meeting someone outside of friend/work/lifestyle circles? Something like....my dog bit your kid's ear off, but, hey, you're kind of cute, etc...?
Hmm.
I've been rattling the old brain cells and I can't remember any kind of accidental encounter that ended up in a friendship (or more).

Hmm... I don't believe in dating services or those "hey I'm looking for love" events if that's what you mean. I always believed that there will be one event at which I meet "The One." It's destiny. I don't like it when guys come on to me because I dislike those desperate types. Even if I didn't have a boyfriend, I will still say no. The way I describe my bf when we first met is a "funny ba*****". Well, he still is. Lol. But for some reason when he gets nice...he gets really sweet... We've been dating for a long, long time (since our early teens) and our meet was destiny, that's the way I take it. I just don't think relationships that sprout from dating services last very long in general, but of course, there are exceptions. I just don't think it is as romantic, imo.

I meant that sometimes luck can give birth to mesmerizing relationships that would have never seen the light of day otherwise because some people evolve in social environments you will never be part of because of X differences nor will they be part of yours either.

^ OK, but why would luck produce the *best* relationships?
