Quick google search and this was the closest I could find. Only, the one I'm thinking of was a couple inches higher on top and didn't look slicked back.

Oh I see what you're talking about. Yeah, there's not a name for that. If it was really poofy somebody might call it Barbarella hair but that style is apparently not badass enough to earn an used nickname. It's just an easy style using bobby pins to pull the hair back. I do that when my hair is greasy - the oiliness makes my hair stand up nicely!

I thought you were talking about the Beyonce "single ladies" hairstyle. You still grew at 23? I am a year younger, I have been 5'10'' for few years now. Are all the girls short and the guys tall here? Despite people in either side of the family being short, my siblings and I all range between 5'9'' and 6 feet so definitely taller than the average but not by too much, the diet probably. Thanks to her decent height my sister modelled during a couple fashion week. Yep, but to be fair Im kind of a late bloomer. I still can't grow real facial hair ... although my mustache is looking slightly fuller these days

I still can't grow real facial hair ... although my mustache is looking slightly fuller these days I know I'm growing older because I have to shave my little stubble on my chin once every 4 days now instead of once a week I'm 189cm tall! (Silly people using a non-metric system. ~@_@~ )

Nah, not Beyonce. Sweetfart has it down. It was a very simple hairdo and it's unfortunate it doesn't have a name. Chopsticks can also be very pretty if done right.
I remember hearing that guys could keep growing until 24/25. Just turned 20 so I hopefully still have another inch in me. Of course, I'd be even happier for a broader set of shoulders.
How old are you tbw? I have to shave once daily and can just about grow a full beard. Missing a patch or two, but they're already beginning to fill in. My older brother has very little facial hair, but my younger brother's a beast. My father's in the predicament of shaving twice a day.

I'm 189cm tall! (Silly people using a non-metric system. ~@_@~ ) That's because most non-metric system users can't be arsed to learn metric, so most of the metric system users are always catering to them.

I put my pants on just like the rest of you -- one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold posts.

^ The U.S. consumes over a quarter of the worlds energy resources and spends over half its military budget. I wouldn't call it catering--more like total economic and military submission. Quick google search and this was the closest I could find. Showing that much forehead use to be classy at some point in European history. Are you feeling a comeback?

Well I take my stand (even though I can convert it!) No more catering

Such haters, that particular hairstyle set my soul aflame (or maybe it was the person who wore it, never know). Can't help what we're born liking. It might be a bit girly, but that's not always so bad on a girl.
My preference was always for hair off the forehead. It seems to help reduce acne. I don't have a problem with pimples and I'm going to attribute it 100% to keeping my forehead clear. FACT

My boyfriend is still growing so I'll look like a midget next to him in a year or two. He's 6 feet right now and we are still very young (think late teens). I am positive that I stopped growing already though. My parents want me to grow more, but meh, what can I do when I already went past the "estimated" height that I will reach according to genes?

Can't really change genetics (short of gene therapy, which really isn't mainstream yet), yet our genes are 90% of who we are. No this isn't an exact figure, but for the other 10%, there's always eating and sleeping well. Sometimes I wonder how different I'd be if I didn't spend all of middle and high school staying up 'til 2-4 and waking at 6.

BTW, does anyone know if tallness is a dominant or recessive trait or is it a combination of both parents? Like, if there was a parent that was 5'0" and a parent that was 6'0", what height would the child most likely be? Not that it matters to me, I just find it interesting because it seems like there is a law of dominance for all the other traits.

I think it's more because the US is like a spoilt child that everyone fawns over and flatters too much. Don't forget that those using non-metric does not only apply to the US. There are four other countries in the world that don't use the metric system either.
