Did you check out the link underneath the sig moving thingie? It's a clip from the scene that moving thingie is taken out of, which is taken out of the 1932 film "Freaks." Really, awesome movie, BTW. Must be him, then en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SchlitzieSchlitzie in German means Chink ( Schlitz = slit) Thanks for the link. I must admit, reading it made me very very sad. I wonder if "Schlitzie" knew that the people of the time were laughing at her/him. Likely not. It seems that living as long as he/she did, someone was taking care of him/her. Likely for the income potential.

Probably not, having the perception of a 3 yr old would likely cause him to think people were laughing with him instead of at him. Better that way though, ignorance is bliss...

^ That is some freaky signature. The person in question appears to be microcephalic, and possibly Down Syndrome as well. Characteristic facies. Sorry to get all technical, but those conditions are right in my wheelhouse. If anyone cares. Did you make that guess before knowing anything else besides seeing that sig pic? Especially before seeing the wikipedia link, which says exactly what you guessed? if so.... big applause for CJ's Dad. You're the real deal!

When you have spent the better part of a decade studying head and neck anatomy and you see a classic example, it isn't real difficult. Kinda like asking an art major if it's a manet, a monet, or a renoir....it's a no-brainer for them. Ask the mechanic if it's a Chevy or a Ford or a Toyota. He knows. The antiques dealer knows what is treasure and what is just old junk by sight. When that's what you do, you know. Or come close with an educated guess.

Well, *saying* you are a doctor on a forum, and actually showing that you know your stuff are 2 different things.
not everyone here represents themselves honestly, and it's just refreshing.

My favorite punch is a left hook ( to the body) . Thus the meaning behind my name.

Avsar is one of many tribes that came from Ortasya (middle asia) to the west. They are from the orginal Askina..Asena tribes. That fled the Cin or the Chinese. To much respect for them. Ortasya is Mongolia/Korea to Central Europe/Germany/France. The lands of eternal warfare.

A new EA boy was born last month to my friends, a Scottish and Japanese couple, and I'm feeling a little sorry for him. They've called him Kazuma which means "peace horse."
Now I speak Mandarin and not Japanese, but I recognize the characters... The first character is pronounced "Hur" from peace (which by itself also means "with") and the last character is horse, or "Ma".
Let's hope he never goes to China/Taiwan as he could a) be teased about wanting to "be with" horses and b) because "Hur Ma" is also a homonym for hippopotamus!

Hmmm. Why this name? It's the name of a bizarre video game character from Sega's Fighting Vipers. She's a sweet fashion student by day, but wears PVC leather in her fighting matches.

Nickname given to me by some friends of mine. Seemed more appropriate than Yellow Oreo, which I have also been called on occassion. =P
