I called myself DivaDancerLara just because when I danced I had alot of confidence and so most of the dancers would call me a diva. So I was a diva dancer hence the name. I have taken a break from dancing but the diva still lives on.

I picked my username because the pool ball '9' is white with a yellow stripe...kinda lame, I know, but it beats Yellow Snow, right?

ooohh didn't see this thread! For me 'tbw' are my initials. Just a nickname that's stuck with me, its either that or 'teebs' (friends attempting to shorten 'tbw' from 3 vowels to two )

Biological.
I feel sorry for your friend. We test respiratory samples all the time from people with pneumonia. The fact that it's so prolonged suggests atypical pneumonia so we would probably test for Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydia pneumonia and Legionella. We may also test for Pneumocystis if your friend's immunosuppressed. We use PCR and our standard turn-around time is about 24 to 48 hours. If it's urgent we can give a result in less than 6 hours. We charge about $30 (AUS) a test but a lot of it is covered by the government under our Medicare system. A public patient could get 6 tests before it exceeds the amount covered by Medicare and they start having to pay for it themselves. Your health system sounds s***e. I've actually been coughing for a while since I got really sick at Christmas and one of the microbiologists at work told me I've probably been walking around with Mycoplasma pneumonia this past month. He asked whether I'd seen a doctor. I told him no, I hate doctors. ;D Well, I'm not dead or in hospital so it can't be that bad.

Sorry, I missed the last question. My pic's of a petri dish baby that I made. It's plastic, not real.
