Why Cheeseprata? It's my favourite dish in the whole world. Well, cheese nan may actually have made it to number one. The dish is actually Roti Prata with Cheese or Roti Canai with cheese if you're in Malaysia. It also reminds me of living overseas where I met plenty of Eurasians and got to know my mum's culture a better. I'd always meet up with mates and eat this at whatever time of the day. I also have a rule that whenver I go back to Singapore and Malaysia, the first thing that passes my lips must be Cheese prata and a Teh Tarik. That means no matter what time I fly in, it's straight to the kopi shops. Here's a pic of some Roti's

I guess I can post again since I have a new name. As some of you may or may not know, my previous name was p****cat~, the nice one that posted cute, naughty stuff and NOT the fake-o person (pretending to be me) who broke into my myspace account, made up fake stuff in bulletins, posted ugly pm or long political messages on ean etc. So anyway, this truly is me and I picked the new name of "sparkle*" because I like glitter, as foolish and girly as that sounds. Everytime I go to hallmark, I end up liking and buying a card because they put glitter on it. P.S. I really CAN still tie cherry stems in knots with my tongue.

Named after Cher's song 'Half-Breed'.
Half-Breed
My father married a pure Cherokee My mother's people were ashamed of me The Indians said I was white by law The white man always called me "Indian Squaw"
Chorus Half-breed, that's all I ever heard Half-breed, how I learned to hate the word Half-breed, she's no good they warned Both sides were against me since the day I was born
We never settled, went from town to town When you're not welcome, you don't hang around The other children always laughed at me "Give her a feather, she's a Cherokee"
Chorus
We weren't accepted and I felt ashamed Nineteen I left them, tell me who's to blame My life since then has been from man to man But I can't run away from what I am
Chorus
