Are blacks really lower class? Or are they the most pure humans?
I believe for the genetic nerds out there, that white skin is actually the recessive trait which was favored when people migrated to more cloudy, colder climates. Same goes with Asians
And until recent history, most of Europe was filled with various barbarian tribes until the fall of civilizations such as Rome and Greece...who again were tribes before.
In Africa, great nations were once there which included the Zulus, the Carthagians, and the Arabian empire which had a lot of influence in North Africa.
Is racial superiority legit? Or is it just based on which ever nations of people was more dominant more recently? Were Europeans looked upon in the world like Black people are today when Mongolians ruled pretty much the continent of Eurasia?
Are we really that different among the races especially in this globalized world where residents of Beijing are eating McMuffin's, and while elitist yuppy New Yorkers are eating ethnic Pakistani food? Where Brazilians are practicing martial arts and Japanese people are playing baseball? Where there seems to be an MTV for every continent?

If I dated a Black person than my offspring will be a " Katrina Victim," if it got that far. That is the truth. "Bottom Line," Americana!

You know, I'm just curious, that's all. The whole Asian and White thing is getting boring, hahaha. Why not throw in a curve ball? kinda superficial, but here are a few examples of EurBlasian celebrities i know of, who i think are absolutely gorgeous... Rae Dawn Chong, daughter of EA Tommy Chong(of Cheech and Chong fame) and a black mother. That's her with her daughter btw. Nicole Lyn. I'm not sure of the percentages but she's of black jamaican, Chinese, English and Portuguese background. That's her with her husband Dule Hill. If I dated a Black person than my offspring will be a " Katrina Victim," if it got that far. I don't get it. I'm not black at all, but technically I'm a "Katrina victim" as well. I find them to be the opposite. Like in their rap songs they always talk about how much bling they have and use the 'N' word a lot. What country do you live in? I dont think you've met enough black people to make a judgement. But yes, the media portrayal does portray them in a negative light. I grew up in an area where there was a prominent population of black folk, a lot of whom fit the stereotypical media image. My paternal grandparents(who are asian) were physically attacked by such guys, where these hoodlums raided into their house, hit them outside the head with guns, and knocked them out cold. Not to mention they were also screwed out of whatever social security/retirement benefits they could have received had they been black. Shortly after they moved to a very asian area in Cali and have been happy there since. My dad himself has had his fair share of death threats and racism from blacks moreso than from other races. Blacks going into asian-owned stores making trouble and shooting up killing the asian store clerks was a common occurrence. My mom is EA, but still had a lot of that black-phobia asian mentality as well. And to be honest, I didn't really blame them for feeling that way, as I felt that way for a while as well. However, since moving to a different part of the country where I've had the chance to meet more blacks who were real nice decent hard-working people, whatever fear I had towards them has pretty much settled down. I realized my fear was moreso about typically ghetto/dangerous high-crime areas than the race that dominated that particular area. I even dated a part-black guy for a bit in fact, albeit not long/close enough to really say it was a relationship. Anyways, as for the main question in this thread…it's more of a hypothetical scenario for me, as my current bf isn't black at all, and I can see myself being with him long-term/marrying him later on. but yes, I could date/be in a relationship with a black person. no matter what the race, I'd hope that my kids will identify/acknowledge my heritage as well as their father's. It would be like a slap in the face if they didn't.

^Are white people that much greater? I've seen you talk down on blacks and asians. What's so great about white people? Aren't white people the ones who came to North America and massacred over 90% of the Native tribes, and got rich from the labor of black slaves. Made the rail roads from the labor of Chinese indentured servants, took land from the Mexicans. Yet we still have a worship the white man attitude on this board...good grief.
Blacks tend to be rougher because they grow up in poorer neighborhoods. I know Mexicans and Asians just as rough as blacks...and guess what, THEY LIVE IN POOR AREAS. It's poverty that causes the "gangstuh" attitude, not race as you said.
Blacks have lived under conditions created by whites to keep them down for years. Jim Crow laws existed till maybe 30 years ago. And even then, old habits are hard to die. So since Jim Crow laws keep them down, their families are all poor. Kids have to go to work early. It becomes a cycle of poverty. Now the government goes in and does the worse thing you can to a poor person, which is give them free money. They aren't going to go to college with it for sure.

It's poverty that causes the "gangstuh" attitude, not race as you said. I disagree wholeheartedly. I live a stone's throw away from Redfern, Sydney's inner-city "ghetto", and you'd occasionally run into a marauding band of Aborigines looking for trouble. A few months ago I nearly got into a fight with a bunch of youths who were shooting spitballs and jumping onto cars like animals in a zoo. They were harassing hard-working, law-abiding people, regardless of race or gender... white, Asian, Hispanic, male, female, whatever. Our government throws money at them, and what do they spend it on? Drugs and alcohol? The only "poverty" they suffer is self-made. In fact one can live a relatively-cosy life just from government hand-outs (ask the French). You can also argue that if they're really poor, then they'd be begging for food such as in the Third World or the Depression era... the fact that they can find time to commit crime and laze about suggests that there is no genuine poverty at all. It's logical to say that if people become "gangstuh" because of their neighbourhood, then you're really saying that they do so because of each other (i.e. themselves). Poverty causes people to act like that. When you feel there is a lack of hope and lack of future, people tend to lash out violently. That's how revolutions start throughout the world. White Australians took the land of Aborigines, and giving them a little check isn't worth anything. They should be involved in government but never will be because white people will never allow it. Australia and North America are countries built on massacring native tribes. When your people get massacred, it's hard to recover from it when you are only given a little check. Whites are lucky Aborigines aren't carrying out terrorist attacks to regain their freedome from the whites aussies, who are descendents of criminals.

Hmmm... I think you need to spend some time living in Australia CJF to really see how it is. While I agree that what happened to Australian Aborigines in the past was terrible I don't think it excuses they way many behave today. My mother grew up in poverty in the Philippines. No elecricity or running water. Both her parents died from TB when she was a kid. Neither she nor her siblings stole or lashed out violently. Instead the older ones banded together and worked multiple jobs to look after the younger ones. My Dad came from a white trash background. His mother was selling her blood at one point to get money. They even took the 30 cents a week he earned on a chicken farm to feed the family. He didn't turn to crime.
Aborigines are involved in government. They get hundreds of millions in funding, special health programs, free legal representation and get paid to go to school. Most seem to choose not to take up these opportunities. Poverty is no excuse for beating up complete strangers, bashing your women or raping toddlers in your community. Yeah, some white Australians may have descended from convicts but at least most of them don't act like convicts or savages.

CJF: You really can't say much when you don't see it with your own eyes. I to could not believe a lot of smack my Aussie friends would say about the Aborigines, I was really pissed and told them how can they say such things about them making them sound like animals. Ummm... yeah did I ever eat my words when I saw with my own eyes not saying all but yeah...... It's not about them being pissed because they are poor and ill educated it's because some of them really don't give a sh*t. There are areas where the Gov has built nice homes for them and what do they do tear it down and use it for fire wood, they rather live in the park with no shelter. I have even seen them have sex in public broad daylight and they don't care if it's their daughter or sister of whatever. I also have met some really great Aborigines that have come a long way and really want to make a better life for them and use the means in a positive way the Gov has offered. But really you can't try to make it sound like you know it when you haven't even seen it, sorry....

But really you can't try to make it sound like you know it when you haven't even seen it, sorry.... Word. it's one thing to go saying/doing blatantly racist things and another to talk about one's personal experiences with a certain race. I believe I was doing the latter. While white people haven't exactly been complete angels either, whatever negative experiences I got from them pale in comparison with the negative experiences i got from blacks or asians growing up. With whitefolk for example, the "racism" I got from some would be something like them not acknowledging my mixedness and talking as though I'm not "from here". While I wasn't all too thrilled about that, I'd consider it the lesser of the two evils compared to say, having someone try to break my neck, spreading hurtful lies/rumors about me around town, picking a fight with me, or go looting my family store and basically robbing my family of our only source of income(which I got from asians or blacks) just to name a few examples. this is to give a glimpse of that eurasiannation.proboards48.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Globetrotter&thread=1125289194&page=5My personal experience is just that, and as much as I wish for a lot of that to not have happened, it did. Next thing I need is somebody telling me that what I've said is just a lie/exaggeration and that I really didn't go thru that- oh wait, nevermind, that's already happened on this forum . That said, since my move, the demographics have changed. The dangerous high-crime black areas that were common where I'm from are in the minority where I am now. Either way, I wouldn’t feel any safer walking around a "white trash" high-crime area than a black one for example. I wouldn't go judging someone I haven't interacted with just by their race. The negative experiences I talked about were direct actual experiences with a person/people of that race. And as I said before, I'd have no problem dating a black/part-black person(as I mentioned I already have), granted they were a nice decent person and we clicked. For someone who grew up/lives in an extreme racist white-populated area, it would make sense that most of their negative experiences came from whites. And I'm not gonna go doggin on them trivializing their experiences, unlike some people .

As some already alluded, this is a very loaded question. Especially in America with it's continuing tradition of racism, now much more institutionalized and subtle than overt, the answers are often based on genuine personal preferences mixed with the stereotypical perceptions of a race, which are, overall, still negative for the blacks/African-Americans.
Would I do it? Especially for a long term? Honestly, I don't know. Too many issues and baggages from both Asian and AfAm relationship, or lack thereof, that I would need to think about seriously.

As much as we may view such acts with disgust, repulsion, and disapproval, we have to realize that those Aborigines are more or less forced to adopt Westernized culture which are completely different from their traditional nomadic culture and are rebelling against it. Is the Australian government trying to domesticate them against their will? Did they ask for government-subsidized housing? How long has it been since the Australian government conscientiously tried to help the Aborigines acculturate or assimilate into the white-dominated society? How long, how much. and how well have the white Australians, in general, been accepting towards them? I'm really curious to know of the official, as well as unofficial, accounts of these issues.
