I have, and I would again if the right black person came along, it's not such a big deal. So what was all the e-drama about? What did the modified posts look like before they were modified? I hate being out of the loop. *edit: nvm, must learn to read posts that are directly above mine.

i'm personally not really attracted to black people. However, there are some that are attractive like.. Tyra Banks is gorgeous!! not that I like girls or anything but I think she's beautiful.
Oddly, I discovered last summer that I've got some black in me . Found out at my grandfathers funeral when my "uncle/cousin"s were there and introduced themselves to me. I was like O wow haha I truely am uber mixed! however, I don't see anything wrong with dating black people?? what's the big deal!? It's a matter of what characteristics you're attracted to in the person!

P.S, btw In his final PM to me he labeled everyone on EAN "white washed" I completely and utterly agree. That may be a matter of upbringing and "whitewashed" has negative connotations but I share his sentiment. Strikes me as peculiar that NO ONE (the last time I looked) wanted to be an asian fantasy race in the semi-whimsical thread in Politics. And if they did, largely no one particularly cares for the culture (food and language is as far as this forum goes). Those who were raised in asia or have lived in asia are relatively silent on the forum. The "whiter" the characteristics, the greater the responses in the Post a Picture Thread, and fawning and drooling and so on and so forth. There's a plethora of american-based posters with insightful but often one-sided views. What "asian"-ness I see is largely exoticized as a means to an end of looking the "eurasian" part. The "asian" posters situated in asia have little affiliation asians, customs, etc, since they were removed and placed in international schools, sent abroad, went to boarding school. Bleh. You are what you are. However, yes, I would agree with him that this forum is largely white-oriented, but not as crazy americanized as hapas.com used to be. I could hardly ever relate to a thing they said and it was odd to me that "asia" was treated as some planet x faraway dreamy place.

^I'm a white-washed EA but I don't think I'm "bad" and no one has ever stated that. I'm white-washed for a few reasons. My white parent is the one who intalled culture and intellect in my upbringing. Basically I love my white parent. The Asian one was all about grades and not about creativity and thinking. The Asian parent didn't nurture my social skills. My white parent talked about our ancestry. My Asian parent kept too many secrets. So I"m white-washed but still appreciate different cultures but I can't make myself something I'm not (in heart and upbringing) and I feel no guilt for the way I am. Well said, I agree. I guess you could say that I'm white washed, but I'd really like to not think it as a positive or negative term. There are a dark secrets in ANY culture, but because I know the both cultures, I made the decision to steer a little further away from my Asian side. Asian culture....Chinese culture anyway, has a lot of hard-to-understand unspoken rules about how you should interact with each other. Perhaps I will understand it when I'm old and wise, but for the time being, it's just hard to accept what my mom told me, "It's just the way it is..." And I seem to be saying this a lot to my husband when it comes to interacting with my family. I know what are the proper ways to handle a situation in the Chinese way yet I can't explain why I must handle the way I did. Treating the elder with respect being an example, is something I have a hard time with. I have no problem treating the elders who treat me well, or who are actually a...good person. When one of my dad's good-for-nothing friends started insulting me because of my weight, I don't think I should respect him based on how many years he was born before me. As I said, these Chinese (Asian) rules are perhaps too deep. So deep I may not be able to understand them all when I'm much older, or when I'm much wiser.... or never.

I honestly believe that there are some AF or EAF who'd much rather date/mate with BM than AM, because of the stereotypes regarding both.

Asian guys and black girls get together. Chinese men who went to the Caribbean Jamaica and Cuba married local women. The richest guy in Jamaica has Chinese grandfathers on both his paternal and maternal sides. Check out these websites: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIbxxH3ZcCgwww.youtube.com/watch?v=MaHqVTSFCcg&mode=related&search=www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMnAthskuEE&mode=related&search=The following video has the Blasian model Korean/Black Tomika Skanes. Curiously, in the video she seems to be presented as the brainy, aloof girl as compared to all the sexy chicks. Is that the Asian model minority myth comping into play? www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4yVfMCRv1gwww.youtube.com/watch?v=M2S9PciNXgAThe following is a group for Blasian families. Interesting how alot of the kids look Asian facially but with tans. (In the U.S. people have a weird way of counting as black even people who are mixed i.e. mulato, quadroons, octoroons etc. Come on folks, in Asia people have a harder time accepting halfies as culturally Asian, even though they may look Asian. It makes no sense classifying a person as "fully" black even though its apparent they are mixed somewhere a long the way. The 2 Blasian kids at my son's school look S. E. Asian. Their "black" dads were had complexions similar to Asian people, (somekind of admixture in the past.) groups.msn.com/BlackAsianFamilieswithChildren/The site below is of Miss. Aruba Zizi Lee 2004. She may or maynot be Blasian but I've noticed that Asians from the Carribean have different vibe from their U.S. counterparts. www.geocities.com/muaruba2004/

I noticed two of my friends seem to only want to date ethnic men only they are white. Since I have known them, (years) they have only dated black, asian and hispanic but that's not what I have a problem with, my problem is that all the men they choose to date are really bad and treat them badly and they seek those type of men out and think only non white males are like that. That really makes me PO because I know a lot of great black, asian, hispanic, etc males that are great and not scum and more I question it all the more I noticed there are a lot of women I have bumped into that think the same way, they seek out men based on a stereotype and now that I realize this the more I want nothing to do with these 2 friends, it just seems wrong to me that they unknowingly think majority of ethnic people are like that, crappy people I have not said anything to them, I don't think they would get it... sigh.
