I don't know about exotic names but I have had a few pets...
Dogs I've had:
Doberman - Bambi
Collie (Sheep Dog) - Boris
Dalmatian - Boo Boo
Cocker Spaniel - Bisney
Yorkshire-Terrier - Bumper
German Dachshunds (Long Hair) - Bingo & Bonzo
Basset-Hounds (Hush Puppies) - Bini & Baby
as well as several local 'Chinese mixed dogs' (mongrels really but I don't like that word.)
Cats:
I've had more then 20, most was 13 at the same time, imagine trying to remember all thier names!!
Lizards:
I've caught more then 50 myself but I've had to set almost all of them free again coz they'd stop eating once they're in a cage...
My fav was Mini-Raptor; a
Malaysian water lizard which I used to take to the shower with me ;D, he was given to me by a friend who breeds them.
Snakes:
I've caught many snakes, most of which I've ended up eating...
coz they were mostly poisonous, so it wasn't safe to keep them around. Then I've caught many non-poisonous one, but the biggest was only 8ft long. Then I had one that gave birth to 12 little baby snakes!! I was actually there when she was giving birth! ;D I then had to feed the little babies with a tooth-pick.
A
'Jared-Jellyfish'... coz I kept it in a jar...
2
Brazilian Land Turtles (big buggers) which my sister drowned coz she thought it'd be a good idea to let them go for a swim in the bath tub...
and many little normal turtles
Loads of
Rabbits, of which one was huge!!, and another one that barked and always kicked me in the face whenever I picked it up,
Guineapigs and
hamsters.
20
SA Love Birds, loads of
budgies, 2
cockatoo (ofcourse I trained them how to swear!), an
owl, and other Chinese birds that I can't say their name in English...
A very poisonous
Lion-Fish, 2 little
Blue Sharks, yes, sharks, but they only grew to 2ft long. And those big Chinese
'Dragon-Bead-Fish', man, I still remember having to go to the streets late at night to catch those buggers cockroaches to eat... ew... Ofcourse lots of
Gold-Fish as well (not in the same tank!
).
I've had a
Bull, I bought it when it was a baby calf and carried it on my shoulders home, it's one of those dairy cows, so it was enormous in no time and it used to charge people around... ;D I also had a Black Mountain
Goat, who used to attack the dogs...
A
Malaysian King Scorpion, which didn't last very long...
Spiders, but nothing fancy, just big colourful ones I'd catch in the woods, as well as these giant
Dragonflies and giant
Praying-Mantis, and also little
Jumping Spiders, when I's a kid, they were the biz!
I've had a couple of
chicks, couple of
ducklings, we lived just out of the city then but it was in no-way a country side, so you can imagine the looks we used to get from neighbours...
I think that's it... maybe there were more when I's much younger, but I think I've pretty much got all the ones I've taken care of.
