The Baba Nyonyas, I can never understand where they came from Especially in Malaysia we have races like Portugese, Serani, and Eurasians who are not halfies, oh yeah tellie, kan org Malaysia, if they dengar the word Eurasian automatically the head ingat orang yang keturunan british right, not the halfies. Pelik ada ..... baba nonya .. Portuguese descent serani .. dutch Portuguese descent eurasian ... usually considered halfies not necessarily british though

^Hey YSL welcome to EAN. I'm living in an igloo in Canada and yet none of my parents are dogsled trainers or "Canadian" per say. My pops got citizenship though but he refers to "canadians" white anglosaxson who've been here for some generations. Even I don't feel very Canadian. Me Mom is from Germany and is German.
Tellie, Serge and UB last to post here and now they are gone. Aku ka amput. terima kasih

My dad is as French as French can be. He's from Brittany, France which is like in the countryside. He came to the US when he was in his mid to late 20s, and he still carries a heavy accent. As for my mom's side, she's like third or fourth generation ABC. Not the norm from what I gather about most EA's parents. Well if he actually is Breton (as opposed to merely being from Britanny) he's hardly "as French can be", in fact many French people would not consider him French at all.
