This reminds me of a letter I got from my host father's students when I was in Japan (he's a teacher).. It started off with what I like, dislike etc..then asked me what my shoe size was? Then...what my blood type was? ...then...if I had a girlfriend? Then if I did...where did she live... It was all a bit freaky deaky for me...

So did I! Don't feel bad - I'm 6'1" - you can have an inch. Just take it from the right place.

Call it 5'11 with shoes ey? or become an astrtonaut - they routinely gain about 3 to 4 inches due to weightlessness on their spine releasing compression. I'm a rocket man! www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX6C6qQJyDs

Good lord. Tellie, wherever you are I hope you're healed up fine. What on earth is it with being taller. I'm 4'11".

What exactly do you mean "what's it like?" If you mean shopping for clothes, it's the same as anyone else but I go to the "petite" sections. It's rather like shopping for shoes where the very small sizes and the very large sizes usually don't get snapped up so I'm left to a lot of variety. Oh yes and I don't drive with bucket seats and I won't ever sleep in a kingsize bed alone because it's freakin creepy. Sportswise, everything's the same but I use titanium rackets (much lighter) and shorter sticks. Steps and straps are adjustable and I think catered to people even shorter. Kayaking and climbing have never been a problem. Traveling is a lot more comfortable than for most, especially on the plane, or long distance drives, 20+ hrs doesn't bother me but that might be me not my size. Does that answer your question?

i guess i don't know exactly what i mean...it's just so inconceivable to me to be that size.what do you do at concerts?i mean,i imagine it'd come in handy for moving quickly through crowds.i'm not expressing myself very well here. there's no real way for you to answer my question,i think...it's kind of like asking someone,'what's it like to have blue eyes?',or 'what's it like to be the opposite gender?' ha,and i couldn't imagine sleeping on anything less than a queen...limbs always hang off somewhere and go numb.add a bedmate and it had better be a king just so we're not sleeping on top of each other.
