I think my shoulders are rather narrow, which I believe is an Asian trait since most Caucasians have broader/wider shoulders. I do however, have a big head, which is kinda Asian since I read somewhere that Asians usually have a larger head/body ratio than Caucasians do. My rather narrow shoulders make my noggin look even bigger! Bobblehead.
I am about 5'6"-5'7"...not tall not short, so this can go either way. I have long legs compared to my body, that is *mostly* a Caucasian trait. I have rather "big" boobies (I can just *tell* some people are already pondering that line), which isn't found typically on Asians. I also have a booty, we all do, but mine is rather round. Okay *censored* it's getting too graphic. xD
All my life I've been quite skinny..an ectomorph, but I do have an hourglass figure. So I can say I have both types.
*Edit* Now that I think about it....Subuatai is mostly correct. However, you cannot deny that Caucasians have a build that is slightly different than Asians. Height alone cannot differentiate the two races though, although *most* Asians are shorter than Caucasians. But there are exceptions to most traits.

I have to be more observant, sorry for this late reply, but I didn't notice your post until now...
Ne ways; Asia is a continent, not a race. There are even national differences, for example, N.K.s are smaller then S.K.s, Northern Chinese are taller and bigger then Southern Chinese, Vietnamese are smaller etc. These differences are mostly due to nutritional factors, others to genetic factors which are varied WITHIN Asia.
And even within each race whether 'Malaijid', 'Tungid', 'Sino', etc there are individual differences. Even down to individual families, that's common fact. My ENTIRE family on my Mongol side tower over almost everyone no matter what 'race' (and I'm the shortest and less built at 182cm). And not to mention the "White" race isn't uniform either.
When people use the term Asian however, I guess I can't help but feel isolated like the rest of my people, even if us Mongolic people are outnumbered more then 1000 to 1. We have a very different phenotype and facial features to other Asians to the point that McCollugh decided to put us into a "Tungid sub-racial" category.
Mongol phenotype varies with height, many can be 7' tall or even much more (such as the tallest man in the world who was Mongol), shortest can be 5'1 or even less, the rest in between. Only thing that is mostly consistent are the much stronger builds compared to either Europeans or Asians. Allowing Mongols to dominate wrestling wherever they go although few in number (Most famous example is in Japan, both Yokozunas are Mongolian). It's the harsh climate and the diet. Skin and bones can't last during the freezing winters on the steppes. Street kids climbing into hot water pipes helps for a while...
Thing is, we are Asian too. And from my travels to Oirat Mongolia, China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore, it is not uncommon to see variable traits of either height or girth or both amongst different ethnic Asians. In a western country however, this is much harder to see. I used to consider most Asians but Mongols little dudes - and I have made a fool of myself in the past with such ignorance.
As much as I have studied anthropology out of my own personal interest for years as well as history; I agree with the AAPA's declaration of race and distinct differences existing within each racial group.

I'm a bit strange, I'm 5'9", the lower part of my body is really Caucasian-like (very hairy and muscular legs) whereas the upper part is really Asian-looking eg: almost hairless, skinny arms. You have it all wrong. Most asians have muscular legs and many Caucasians have skinny legs. I'm plagued with the dreaded small white boy calves. My hamstring and quads are decent at least. That's because they have responded well to working out for 6 years.

That's because they have responded well to working out for 6 years. You have it sorta right. It's really just northeast Asians (Manchurian Chinese, Mongols, Kazakhs, and many Koreans) that have the muscular/husky/fat/stocky or whatever you wanna call it limbs. The calves especially. They have also have fatter faces, and more fat on the body in general (even if they aren't fat). This is for both men and women. It has to do with the ancestors needing to keep fat to store heat during the harsh winters. Southeast Asians and most Japanese, on the other hand, are usually the tiny, slender-limbed ones that people typically think of Asians as looking like. Take all that into contrast with black people from smoldering hot West Africa, and you see how they are generally always skinny and boney no matter how well-nourished they are. They didn't need all that fat to retain heat for the weather out there.

My mother is not the 'typical' European as she's petite (short) and slim with small breasts (though I do think the average height of British females is still considered to be short). The only thing I would say makes her typical are her European facial features, wide hips and body and facial hair. My skin is definitely a mixture between European and East Asian: lighter than my father, darker than my mother. I'm shorter than my mother and smaller framed than both of my parents. Looking at my East Asian family members, I would say I definitely got that from that side! My boobs are definitely from the Asian side. I always thought mine were a weird shape because they don't stick out much, but are very 'wide' for lack of a better word to describe it... So even though they are what some people would consider 'big', they don't look big. European women tend to have narrower ones that stick out a lot more. So I thought I was odd until I looked for pictures of Asian women and realised that seems to be a common shape. I got my wide hips from my European side, but along with that I also got unwanted hair. Being an East Asian-looking woman with excessive hair has made me feel very ugly because people expect me to be bald everywhere except for my head, eyelashes and eyebrows. It makes me even angrier that my brother (who doesn't need to be bald) inherited the 'hairless East Asian' gene.

Ah, I love only having to shave my underarms every few days. It gets noticeable long after 2-3 days. Got this awesome new deodorant that really does keep it stubble free longer! xD I would get it waxed, but meh, who cares when it is this cold. I have very fine leg hair on my thighs...I just leave it. People deny that after you shave once, the hair is more noticeable, but I found that it is really true. I only have to shave my lower leg hair- it was very fine before but when I started shaving, it got...darker. If I don't shave, that area gets hairy. xD I do, have no arm hair, well except for a few fine random ones close to my hand but I think everyone has that. I have annoying fine, blonde all-over facial hair that makes my face look a bit splotchy. Makeup doesn't sit well on my face partly because of this. I'll leave it alone though. However, the kitty...that is another story. I only shave/wax it for the boy toy or the beach.. Other than that, don't care either.

I have a very slim Asian figure with the exception of my breasts and bum. I have very few body fat anywhere else. Scary right? It's all concentrated in those areas. I like my lean, but long legs. I dislike my short neck though, makes my head look big. I've always admired the swan-like necks of some women. I guess I like my generously-sized perky boobies too. I really want to buff up though and gain some weight in other areas. I'm making it a new year's resolution.

i'm skinny, but i'm taller than my asian dad, he was kinda short. So i guess I got the height from my mom, even though shes kinda short, but her brother is over 6' tall. I definetly got asian hair, cause its very straight, and my facial hair is asian in the sence that it sorta just grows foward and doesn't get very full, but it grows fast as hell. I got hair on my arms and legs (alot), but none on my chest and back (thank god). But i got a big honker from my mom, thats for sure, my bro and sis both got asian noses. You're very good looking. I like the nose.

I'm 5'5 with narrow hips and shoulders. I don't quite know what my natural body shape is as I spent my teenage years keeping my weight as low as possible by depriving my body. I was on the larger side before this, muscular and chubby at the same time. I tend to gain weight easily, though I'm slim at the moment with a good sized bust and bottom.
