I've noticed them since I was uhh....13 :X 15 now, still get a few white hairs (most of them are "banded" being half dark and white or sometimes I get pure white) ...'Tis rather embarassing to get it so young My friends go "omg a white hair, you're getting old/can I pull it out?" I possibly stress too much or something

I used to have a lot when I was between 17 to 20, now at 22 I don't have them anymore.... I guess I don't have too much stress anymore.
I even saw how some white hairs start having a dark brown base again... hahaha... as my hair is quite long that looks funny!

My whole family wont stop commenting how many white hairs I got (I'm 24 now), apparently I stress too much -> but I fail to see the significance. How does that work?

Heh, well I just don't see how stress, which is a mental occurance... is directly linked to people getting white hairs.
O.O

stress, much? i've found like 10 on my head within the last year. i'm sure there's more, i'm afraid to look. oh yeah, im 20 years old. supposidly i heard it could be genetics.... but i'm gonna blame it on my stress levels since both of my parents started way after their 20s. i found a fwe in high school, though i haven't seen any since.there was a full asian girl who already had a considerable amount of them,as well.i have noticed it seems to be more common among asians, but one of my favorite high school teachers (who's white) told us that she'd begun to go fully gray in her twenties.

cortisol (infamous stress hormone) is responsible for basically effing melanocytes aka your hair cells up the bootyhole, if hair cells were to have booties with holes, that is. basically, your hair cells experience great difficulty producing enough pigment to maintain their color. it's sad and it's happening on my head as i type this, i bet. Heh, well I just don't see how stress, which is a mental occurance... is directly linked to people getting white hairs. O.O

Are his eyebrows so long that they're tied to his hair?
