Ah, I know who she is. Shes a good singer I actually thought she was 100% South American (hispanic). But shes half Norwegian? I dont really know what Nicuragua is but.... I saw her on TV yesterday and she looked totally EA but then again I guess some Latinos are mixed w/ Native Americans. Nicaragua is in Middle America (does that word exist in English ?) I know the story and ethnicity of Maria Mena! ;D Her mother is Norwegian and her father is black (originally from Nicaragua, but grew up in NYC) A couple of years ago I saw a program on TV where her father took her to Nicaragua for the first time... When she first got famous, she always had braided hair (which made it a bit easier to tell that she was half black. After she straightened her hair she looked much more EA). At that time, I was like "Wohoo, mixed people FTW!!" ;D

I think many hispanics are mistaken for EA and many EA (like myself) are mistaken for hispanic. I guess its because some kind of similar mix? Hispanics are Spanish+ Native american (some kind of asian, or eurasian people).

Oh ok. I wouldn't know. This is the only forum I attend. Not up on cyber-speak.
Yeah, and I really admire all the non-native English speakers who participate in this forum.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, actor to star in the upcoming 'GI Joe' flick: He looks part Asian to me. And I've heard other people say he looks like a Eurasian version of Heath Ledger.
