OMG, you guys have to take a look at the presentation Sony made at E3 for the PS3--> www.ryoni.com/news/134/ARTICLE/1426/2005-05-17.htmlI was blown away. With games that realistic, even I have to wonder if the violence portrayed might have an impact on some little kid.

The controllers for PS3 look like teeny-tiny stealth bombers. WITH BUTTONS!

Yes, I'm so excited for that game! Except apparently Link can turn into a wolf now, which is kinda weird.

Damn. This may be a reason to get Gamecube. I miss all the Zelda games. I don't know why, but I was obsessed with Epona in the N64 games. Nice to see her again.
I love how they keep the music constant in the games too, but change it just slightly. There's something kind of nostalgic about hearing the Town music from the really old games in the newer ones with a bit of a twist.

games i have played/ play religiously Those were some of my favourites on the N64 as well, along with Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Wrestlemania 2000. I usually play games on my PC these days. Rome Total War Warcraft 3 and IL2 Sturmovik are some of my favourites.

No no... Forza soo isn't. In many ways, this is what GT4 SHOULD have been. The GT series has become pretty stale... However, Forza's tracks are WAY TOO WIDE. I think you could race giant cross-channel hovercraft on them. The driving dynamics (with all the aids off) are much better than GT4... GT4 typically understeers like a bitch and gives you snap-oversteer (w/out wheel hooked up)

@dre: Aight, Rome: Total War is totally the shït, the best strategy game ever made. PERIOD. It's so damn perfect, it is what defines epic strategy gaming. Nothing for wusses and those with no brainscells to think and plan. War strategy in real life works here as well. Which nation do you prefer playing with? My favourite are and always have been the Carthaginians (historically and in the game). Their war elephants are virtually tanks smashing everything in their path...it's so fun to see hordes of the enemy being thrown through the air. Ahh, everything about this game is so perfect. You should look out for Spartan: Total Warrior, a hack'n slash game for the consoles (by the same developers). It puts you in the role of a single Spartan warrior that fights in battlefields against hordes of Romans and mythological creatures. Looks a bit so-so at the moment, but it does sound promising. Released in September. -- Anyway, the movie that I definately CANNOT wait for is The Movies. You run a production studio and makes movies, controlling everything from creating the actors/actresses, making the script and generally managing to making full-length movies. And you can later upload them on www.hollywoodreporter.com, where real directors will look at your work. This game looks extremely impressive and very original. There doesn't seem to be any limit to what you can create. The most impressive thing is that you provide the voice, and the artificial intelligence will lip sync to the words you record. Totally awesome. Shipped for release in October.

Tried the touge tracks for Forza , it is seriously not touge ,the road is too wide , but they have to remember its not like initial d 1vs1 racing , its 8 cars at the same time. Yeah , turning off all the aids does improve the game alot , it makes it so much more fun. Im just happy they decided to put an 86 Trueno on it .

Forza has good handling, but there's not as much to do like in GT4. Do you use a steering wheel or controller Scottski? I've sold a lot of wheels, but I haven't heard much feedback on whether they're good or not. I'm not a fan of racing games so I've never really tried the wheels myself. I only play what I can at work.

Logitech all the way. Get a PC-Compatible Logitech GT Force wheel, then you can hook it up to both PC and PS2... wait, does XBOX have a USB port?
