I think each have their own strengths and weaknesses (don't want to waste time explaining them in detail though), but apparently Windows dominates the market. Ironically, though for the Waterloo School Board, almost all the schools there prior to Highschool us Macs!

f**k mac and their overpriced products (I'm just bitter because I can't afford one) Then would you want them to lower the price and thus the performance?

^Windows (especially XP) for no apparent reason freezes too much (like once every 20 times for me) and because of that, Microsoft is losing a few milllions in maximum potential profit, but that probably doesn't matter too much for them. Speaking of which, I've heard some pretty unsatisified comments about Vista (like having to reinstall many programs that originally worked). Do these issues I hear about balance about the beneficial new features Vista has to offer or not?

^ Microsoft is losing millions of dollars because your computer freezes every 20 minutes?
Thats allot of computer you got there. jk.
Vista's allright, main focus on it is - faster navigation. On purchase people would most likely encounter driver problems since its a new platform as opposed to the out of date drivers for their hardware, but those are downloadble from the appropriate company websites by now.

Anything that doesnt meet the requirements for the operating system(OS) in question, ontop of that whatever you use your computer for - games, word processing, editing, They have different hardware standards.
