^ Can you believe I still haven't seen that movie? Everyone keeps telling me how flingin' flamin' wonderful it is. And I'm talking guys. So based on how many GUYS tell me it's their favorite movie, I'm going to have to say, no. Pick again

Just watch the movie again. If you're such a big fan of it, then it wouldn't be torture for you to watch it again anyway. It's clear as day in the movie. Lisa Kudrow's boobs > Mira Sorvino's boobs. WASP = White Anglo Saxon Protestant ^Being half Jewish, Gwyneth Paltrow could not be technically called a WASP. But she still f**king reeks of WASPiness. Well, I can't get my hands on the movie this very second... but a minute's worth of googling has proven to me that neither of them are particularly blessed in the bosoms. But Mira is truly beautiful, and apparently she's a Harvard grad so I was on point with the intelligence reading. - The 'white' part was the matter of contention.

@long: WASP does not equate white, at least not ONLY white. It is a very clear separation of a specific type of person, who yes has to be white but also has to be a couple of other things to qualify. I was using the word to denote a type of personality that is prevalent among WASPs but is not only identifiable in WASPs. And no, Mira isn't beautiful. She's cute, end of story. Her being a Harvard grad (who speaks several Asian languages due to studying Asian culture in school) doesn't make her gorgeous. Smart, great, nice legs, awesome, but she's not a stunner in the face. Her eyebrows bug me. Anyway, I'll stop criticizing her now since I don't want to be a total asshole who won't give up in talking s*** about someone else's crush like a certain someone I know. "Indiscreet" was a really good movie, one of Gloria Swanson's few talkies. It's about a woman who had sex with her boyfriend who can't commit, finally leaves him, but then finds out her younger sister has fallen prey to him. She then tries to extricate her sister from the unsavory man's clutches without revealing her murky past. It might not sound like it from the way I described it, but it's a comedy. And a hoot at that.

@ms Aphid - I already said you can define WASP however you want! I just told you how I used it! Gwyneth was not a good example to contradict my usage! - Why are you criticizing my taste in women! You're so f***ing annoying, f***! I don't give a f*** about your f***ing opinion! - Is Gong Li really your crush? I said she was cute when she was young... you're the one who doubted her brains.

'The Princess Bride' - We'll make it count. And of course... 'First Knight'. 'Legend' would have to rank up there too. I've never seen it, but what of 'Shakespeare In Love'?

"Love Actually" only because I like how it beautifully represented love and not just in a romantic sense!

Ever after.
50 First dates.
I watch a lot of Drew Barrymore's movies despite of the fact that I hate that romantice comedy genre, so I think it says a lot.

Black Book the WW2 movie? That was a GREAT movie, but I wouldn't call it a chick flick.. you must be talking about something else, right?
p.s. - Mary Poppins, Pretty Woman
