okay i still have a problem though, i want to put a pic in my signature. but its not working ive tried tinypics.com even using my msn spaces, blog and a websites url and address, using ![]() etc but it wont work its just not showing at all. what am i doing wrong? i must be doing something wrong ive tried so many methods, i must have forgotten to do something. |

maybe you're missing the slash at the end of the tag eg [img*][/img]

Aside from normal picture posting there is also resized picture posting (the "*" were added just so the text would show up): STANDARD (say a 100x90 pixel picture) [*img]http://www.whatever.com/picture.jpg[/img]  RESIZED [*img height=200 width=180]http://www.whatever.com/picture.jpg[/img] we are now displaying the picture originally at 100x90 pixels, at 200x180 pixles, or twice the size. The same can be done to scale it down. |

must i use flickr or pis hosting pages.. can't i just shove in my pic from any site? sorry im kind computer illiterate

You may use many sites to host.
For example you can use Photobucket (google it) to dump your pictures there and they give you a link.
Or for many types of diffrent files you can use the site in my link.
(audio, video, pictures etc.)
