Happy Birthday Phil! My wife just had her birthday on Friday and mine's next Saturday. In conclusion, cake is awesome, ice cream cake is awesome and nostalgic, Dairy queen ice cream cake >> Carvel ice cream cake, and Tim Horton's is now in Manhattan. Huzzah!

Happy birthday to me biatches! I don't know if a cake is in order, though we have the best lemon cheesecake in the world here (Katrina Rozelle in Rockridge). I'm picking up Mrs. Betahat at the airport tomorrow, there'll surely be some low-grade alcoholism going on. Man, 27 and getting old, but life is all good.

Hey thanks, I'll try to have fun.
The day isn't even halfway over and I already had a close call.
Hit the gym in the morning with a new supplement called Jack3d. The effects, I'd say, are most similar to those of amphetamines. While on them I noticed increased focus and little-to-no muscle fatigue, also a tingling feeling in hands and head/face. Started off light on the bench, 135@8 reps, then up to 145, 155, 165, 175 and finish off at 185. Normally I would have finished there, but my heart and mind are racing at this point so I start doing 135 until failure. Things are going well, until failure hits (without warning, either, since there was no fatigue) and the bar is 1-2 inches above my neck and falling. 135 isn't much weight, I can rest it on my chest without trouble-not so sure about my neck. Luckily, my right arm buckled and I used to leverage to push the left away.
I was still buzzing after that, so I continued to work out after that until my world started spinning. This stuff is awesome, if not dangerous.
