Thanks guys I'll definitely try the clarifying shampoo. I'm thinking about just buying a shampoo for oily hair and a conditioner for dry hair...you think it's okay to use a different brand of shampoo and conditioner? absolutely.

I've been using a heat protector (Dove Heat Defense Therapy Shine Mist) before blow drying and straightening/curling my hair and I've noticed less split ends since I started using it, so that might help, too.

Me too! I use the Silk Elements Heat Protecting Spray. You can get it at Sally Beauty Supply if you have one nearby. It isn't expensive and one bottle lasts a long time for me. It makes your hair have this powder-fresh scent and makes it feel SUPER SUPER smooth afterwards! It is totally a miracle product for me. You betta try it because it saved my life especially since I used a flat iron that wasn't designed to dry hair to dry my hair. Imagine how DRYING that can be. I had to do that cause I love to wash my hair very late and by that time my roommate is already asleep so I didn't wanna wake her up with the blow dryer. I almost forgot, try ittttt! Also, have any of you tried the Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal? Does that work for you? I tried the classic before but it didn't seem to do much. I heard it stings your gums though (the advanced seal). My teeth aren't THAT yellow...just that I want to get them as close to eyeball-white as possible lol. thankies..lovely ladies. =)

It's only available from the dentist or on eBay (people buy it from the dentist then sell it on eBay for cheaper!). It's expensive, but it's the only strength that works on me since I smoke. You can see the chart for how much peroxide each one has in the line: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crest_WhitestripsLooks like the Advanced doesn't have any more than some of the cheaper ones such as Premium and Pro Effects. Although there could be much more to it than the peroxide, so I dunno. I would just go with Supreme or classic. They make my gums a little white and irritated for a couple hours but then it wears away. All of them work, it's just a matter of how long you have to wear them. If I were you I'd just get premium. Other tips for making teeth look whiter: - darker lipstick without yellow or orange tints - get a tan - wear silver jewelry

^ Thanks I should give the strips a try. Darker lipstick looks odd against my pale skin...I look way too goth. When I wear black people always think I'm a hardcore goth. Dark lipstick looks really good on olive/medium tones. I love bright lips though..I find that brights or sheers look best on me. I look like a vampire with dark lipstick..I tried black lipstick for Halloween last year and I scared myself. ;o

Yeah, I can't wear dark lipstick because I have thin lips and I'm rather pale. Thin lips just look stupid with heavy shades of lipstick.

Do you ever notice that the sanitary pads they put in the $.25 machines in bathrooms suck? It's like a long slab of wadded up toilet paper. Very uncomfortable.

Maybe HK chicks are more responsible about bringing their own everywhere they go. lol Yeah, those machines get jammed all the time. Pieces of crap. I've used the toilet paper before, but you better find refuge in a pad real fast! lmao Doesn't happen a lot to me, but once I resorted to using an old cotton glove in my pocket (it was clean!). Tampons still scare me. Get a load of this: www.gladrags.com/Reusable organic pads!

I was actually getting kinda interested in it and was thinking about buying them as a practical gag gift for a friend until I realized the kits cost $80 and one pad costs like $15. I know they're reusable, but that's a little too much. It sounds like too much work to clean em. And some of the other stuff on the site was just ridiculous. Sea sponge tampons, okay. But the rubber menstrual CUP? Seriously?

I once bought the sponge tampons (for those who don't know, they're stringless and designed to go all the way up so you can still partake in fun activities - haha!) but I didn't use them. Kinda weirded me out without the string thing.
Hey, has anyone tried any T2 tea? I want to get some, but having a look at their online store, I never could have imagined how many different types of tea there could be! Creme brulee, choc chip chai, gogo geisha - there are so many! I can't justify getting a small pack of each because 100g costs around $13 a pop. I may just have to try to get down to one of the shops one day. Anyone have any recommendations/reviews?
