@ Manni: girl, don't straighten those luscious curls of yours! that j.lo hair color would look nice on you..oh, and from another pic you posted... i don't know if it's just the lighting but your hair has a hint of burgundy to it in that pic. i think you would look ravishing in red too i myself actually have been thinking about going red as well..hmm...

I really love the braids Mani they look great on you. You've probably answered this question before but since I've never seen a pic of your parents who do you get the curly hair from? And whilst we're talking beauty tips question for jeymi. Jeymi: Re: your photo in post a pic. Did you do your own eye makeup? It looks gorgeous. Very impressed if so, cos I find it really hard to apply eye makeup when you always have to keep one eye shut. Even though I can paint. I'm a disaster with makeup - using your face as a canvas - too hard!

I just used black eyeshadow, easier than using eyeliner, it hurts my eyes. Thats about all i use, anything else is too much and too time consuming.

Are you an artist? If so I'd love to see your work. Nah. I wish! Just an amatuer Did you learn to apply makeup just through experimenting with what works? My mums white and she doesn't know how to use makeup to enhance asian features. I've never figured it out either. Most makeup tips in magazines are directed towards anglo features. There are some tips for asian makeup, but I don't find that they necessarily work for eurasians because our skin coulouring is different and features mixed. Anyone know any sites that adress this?

I'm sh*thouse at applying makeup too. I've only just started to get girly so would love to know how to do a decent job. While I'm in the whinging mood I hate my hair. It is so thick and dry. I definetly don't have the glossy 'asian' hair though my sister inherited it, bitch. ;D

yeah, my sister got the asian hair, too. i got dark brown and kinda wavy Indy, I remember people talking about a makeup book aimed at asian women a loooong time ago. i'll try and dig up a link. apparently a lot of the models they used were eurasian so i think some of the tips were helpful or EAs. i really liked the colour that jolie dyed her hair. what kind of hair dye did you use, jolie? was it feria?

Nah I was never big on makeup. Although directed at Asians, heres a site that might be helpful: asiams.net/Beauty/beauty.htmlTheres a cosmetic company that's also directed at biracial women: www.zheninc.com/aboutus.htmlZhen cosmetics were created for women of color, providing foundation and makeup colors that are flattering for Asians, as well as Latinas and Hispanics, bi-racial and mixed race women, as well as women of Mediterranean descent.

Great make up links! I have found that using a brush and eyeshadow powder works better for my lower lid. Good brushes are def. the key to applying makeup in my opinion.
Where are the other two purses from Jeymi? Those are so cute.
Manni, Your hair is beautiful. I know you get tired of curls but girls that don't have it want it. I would love to have your hair. Very sexy. You still wanna dye it? What about highlights? You ever though about going darker?

While I'm in the whinging mood I hate my hair. It is so thick and dry. i have that hair tooo.. it sucks so much.. but i had it chemically straightened a few times and the first time, its was amazing, but i think as time goes on, your hair just f*ucks up and doesnt take to all the chemicals, this last time i had it done in the summer, and it just didnt really work, but it was more manageable rather than straight, so i can live with that! oh and lisa, thats kinda the fringe/bang thing i was thinking about..!

I saw some really cute pointed toe white boots but I don't know what I would wear them with and how. They are short. Not the long ones. Like a little above the ankle. Anyone have those? What do you wear your with. I have never bought white boots. Just black or brown.
