Good man. But what exactly is this Ribena stuff? I think I recall Jon starting a thread lionizing it somewhere... Ribena itself isn't alcohol but this drink was a blend of Ribena and whatever alcohol it was...not too sure I just drank it and enjoyed. I don't like haven't acquired the taste for beer yet much to the chagrin of my very Irish (at least when it comes to beer) father. Im tempted to mix ribena with vodka now

yeh legal age in australia is 18, although most kids here start at 13 or so You people are bad! And though I would debate that a drink/food can taste like a smell... I have tried cham-pagan (futurama reference- luv those who get it eternally ) once, and it was one of the most wretched liquids I have ever had the displeasure of sliding down my throat.

i'm a girly-girl when it comes to alcohol. the only wine i really like is rose, but i will drink some white wine - paul bosson and black tower my favourites.
at the moment, i'm liking daiquiri's and mojito's.

Carlsberg Beer.

Is the trend, in your different countries, amongst adolescents and college students to drink solely for the reason of getting pissed?
I used to down shots of vodka before it moved onto hoisting the bottle down my throat until I passed out, if there was no vodka, anything I could get my hands on.
However, now I just love cocktails (I have to admit it's because they're colourful) Strawberry Daquiri and White Russian (with extra cream) being sooooo good.

I stick to chardonnay, chenin blanc or a decent cava. Quite partial to the usual non-vintage champagnes too, but who isn't.
I'll drink beer too, should the situation suit it. I steer well clear of cocktails unless I'm trying to get hammered.
To the people knocking wine and champagne, you are out of your minds. Champagne is a beautiful drink. Smell it before you drink it next time - it's like honey in a glass. Just make sure it's nicely chilled and you aren't gulping it from a beer mug.

I was trying to buy a new wine I hadn't tasted before at the liquor store down the street, and I got this because its a cool bottle, just holding it makes me feel like a pirate. anyway, mateus Rose wasn't too bad for me. Its a portugese wine
