@m3ranii: Whoa, so many memories with those trains and buses! The station above looks like Ipswich or Toowong, the main two covered stations I travelled between (UQ Ipswich and St Lucia campus). Man...it was a long 45 mins to Ipswich ...not so much when leaving On the whole, I think Brisbane transport was pretty damn nice, apart from the occasional drunk/crazy people (which I think goes for almost all public transport).

... I think the beauty of cars with strong lines are done a disservice in black since it hides important, prominent styling strokes. Any thoughts on this dilemma? ... It doesn't matter which one you get, I think all SUVs are the AMC Gremlins of our time... (as in butt ugly).

sorry boys, but SUVs are here to stay. The Pontiac Aztec is the Gremlin of today, and rightfully put to sleep. I don't know what kind of SUV you've driven to think they have excessive body roll. Land Rovers, and pretty much any SUV with permanent four wheel drive handles remarkably well. I know this Infiniti has independent suspension. I have a Jeep SRT8 (OK not a real SUV, but more of a hot rod) which is bad ass, and all wheel drive, lowered, low profile tires, but it sucks when you hit a bump rounding a corner, apex or not, b/c it has a solid axle in the back. The QX handles far smoother just b/c of the independent rear. Anyway, the trade must happen for the growing family, and the Q is the best handling of the big lux suvs. So the question is silver or black.

I doubt SUV will stay much longer as the price of gas goes beyond $5/gal within the next year.
My choice would be a Suburu WRX STi wagon, which will hold plenty of my stuff while leaving SUVs far behind.

^ Land Rovers are horrible, my mom had one and it was awful to drive. It's such a piece of crap to in terms of engineering. I was so happy she sold it after just a year driving that awful thing. I always get car sick in a SUV

Love the new Tundras but I'd wait a year before getting it because after they came out, there was a ton of recalls and lots of problems with it.. not worth that.. so I'd wait a year you know? They're wicked nice though! As for my bee, no plans to lower it or whatever. I like jacked up trucks hehe.. I want to get nice knobby tires for it.. get some 22's and maybe a 2 inch lift if possible without it looking stupid.. considering it's a sports truck I love Tacomas too! But yea dude, I'd wait on the tundra til next year or til they figure out all the kinks with that beast.. hot truck though dude!

Hey Rob! Sorry, I missed this! The bike is only a CBR 250, strangemagic was talking about a CBR600! It's more than enough power for what I need now though. I'll probably upgrade within 18 months There will be photos!

Speaking of bikes... Honda Shadow and my R6 superbike Funny how people automatically assume that I don't look like the type who rides. Looks are deceiving people! I keep this a well hidden secret from mummy and daddy as they would go into parental mode and forbid me to ever ride again

Strangemagic - hear ya on the Tundra. Always good to wait out the first model years but Toyota is offering huge rebates on this years model to eat into some Ford/Chevy/Dodge market share. Next years model will be a bit more of a kick in the pants. Love your ride, but for some reason, I just see you in a Jeep Rubicon/wrangler. dannyd - nice! but why go overkill on the power? (not that i'm one to talk )..... go Ducati. Don't know where you are but XRiz (poster here from LA)'s dad has a dealership and can hook you up with a discount. Lizkel - sweet ride! put ur deposit down on the new M3? Dang, too bad we don't live in the same place coz it would be sweet if we could organize a ride. at least here on EAN, i know Groink (biker), XRiz (biker), Weilee (Mopar), Jeepin4x4 (off-roader), Maverick (M3) would be game (And Dapper, if you're reading this, you're invited too with that E36 of yours).
