For when you have a freakin headache so bad you think your brain is about to explode.
For when you feel so festy that your breath could wilt plants.
For when you sweat alcohol the next day.
For when youre just tired of dry retching so much that you think your stomach is about to exit your body.
This thread is for you.

I bring thee the POUTINE: The meal by excellence when bars and clubs close at 3 am in Quebec. Partyers around the province all flock to their local grease-joint to stuff their face with the delicacy known as french fries, cheese curds and gravy. Specialty poutine restaurant La Banquise serves up variations (like the one above with bacon) at all hours of the day! Seriously, it's the best offensive against a hangover. It's a heart attack waiting to happen but it wards off the evil.

Yeah, pretty sad that it's essentially our flagship meal in Quebec. A Quebec band wrote a very heartfelt song about poutine too.

All my friends from montreal rave about this stuff. now I'm afraid to go there because I'll have to actually try it.
I've heard there's gourmet poutine with bleu cheese and other fancy ingredients..

I am so poutine out but it is very yummy ;D Back in the day when friends went to Canada they brought back some of the cheese and we would have Poutin night, one indian friend always added curry and hot sauce to his, I have no idea how his stomach could tolerate it.

i'm fascinated and repulsed by poutine at the same time. cheese+fries=tasty fries+gravy=i can imagine they'd pair well cheese+gravy=...in my head, this is a puke-worthy combo. i might try it sometime, but for now good ol' American chili-cheese fries work.

My college roommate had a hangover cure from Wendy's that consisted of:
A spicy chicken sandwich A junior bacon cheeseburger Chicken nuggets French Fries XL Ice Tea
Needless to say he was absolutely enormous. I can tell now I"m going to have an enormous hangover tomorrow, anyone know any cures that won't give me a heart attack before I'm 30?

heh,i've only had two hangovers in my life, but i found that it helps to eat something before you go to sleep, drink a lot of water or sports drink, and pop an over the counter anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen works best for me.)good luck!
