^ I used to looooooooooooove eating them when I was younger!! Plain only, not ube flavour.
Had this delicious mango and black glutinous rice desert a couple of weeks back. yum.

lol, yep, that`s a yukimidaifuku. Looks like albino mochi. What does it taste like? Hmm...well, the chewy mochi layer on its own doesn`t really taste like anything, it`s the chemistry that goes between the mochi and the vanilla icecream inside your mouth that is really relishing.

as a whole, korean desserts are horribly bland. koreans do NOT like sweets

^ i dunno if you'd can consider it a dessert, but there's this Korean Biscuit I really like that's quite sweet. All I know is it's got 'Binch' on the packet, each biscuit is individually wrapped and it’s very addictive. I’ll even put it out there that I like them more than the beloved tim tam. The only downer about it is that the only place I know that sells them here in Melbourne is an Asian grocery two suburbs away. here's a pic:
