^HAHAHA Speaking of which the place I often go to is owned by a young couple... The bubble tea is great! And the ambiance too, the have huge a huge TV and play Chinese pop music ! SO FUNNY! I love going there with my friends (guys and girls) Cause there's a really great ambiance.
And my favorite flavor is Thai Tea! AWSOME!

I don't like too many asian desserts, I find them quite starchy, especially the ones made out of rice.. plus not quite sweet enough either!
Much prefer western dessert.

I've found this Japanese place that serves French deserts but with an Asian twist to them.
I.e.- green tea, taro, & some other flavored truffles, green tea homemade ice cream, etc. etc. I can't remember the rest as I always get the same thing.
But they're absolutely amazing. I'm a sucker for the chocolate souffle though, which is most definitely not Asian. Warm, homemade and drizzled with raspberry sauce with a proper (and by proper, I mean small- not too much) portion of homemade vanilla ice cream on the side.
Joygasm.

Of course. It's called Sakagura 211 East East 43rd Street, B1 (between 2nd and 3rd avenue) It's kind of tricky cause it's hidden. It's across the street from an Indian restaurant, but there's another Japanese place right next to it. You have to go past that Japanese place and into what looks like an office building w/ all these glass doors- veer left, go down some stairs, through a hallway and finally you're at the restaurant. I never would have known it was there. Supposedly they also have an amazing assortment of sake. Their soba is quite good too, but you may want to start with desert .
