yeah, the thing is a lot of mc's have yardy flows but don't necessarily speak like that in interviews...etc.
I would have eveyone believe I have a london accent but I get told I speak 'too clear' to be from london. what they really mean is they expect me to have some heptic gangsta flow. Sometimes i'm quiet and get people assuming im foreign or imaging my accent is foreign.

i think i have an australian accent, but it's not all "g'day mate" and bogan-ish. i've also found that 5 days in s'pore and u pick up singlish very easily, it's simply adding alot of "lah"s at the end of ur sentences and saying things that would, if they were written be gramatically incorrect, as well as trying to get ur intended message across with the least amount of worlds as possible.
eg: to ask sumone to turn off the light would go sumthing like this:
english - could you please turn off the light singlish ~ off light lah!
and it takes a while to wear off once u get back to australia, about 3 days.

Oh and...i like the canadian accent, and dislike the british one, coz it usually comes across as very snobby and i can't explain it.

Erm, Public School Yorkshire and not West Yorkshire for that matter- nothing like "endat day" and "go over tut roundabou", however I do occasionally utter "tuther side" instead of "other side".

I´ve just discovered a love of the Yorkshire accent. On of my workmates is from Yorkshire and I´m always hypnotised when he speaks.
I find West Country accent sexy for some reason (I´ve dated 3 West Country boys !!!)

"i'm working 3 while 9" that was a pet peeve of mine. i studied uni oop north in sheffield. i'm mixed about the local accent. its quite nice and comforting sometimes (proper and traditional english feel), but others, why leave out prepositions?! my friend loved this phrase "i'm on't'internet"! haha

I've never actually used "while" in that context but I know a man who does. There are many variations of accents that originate in Yorkshire. Sheffield and surrounding areas, i.e Doncaster and Rotherham-their accents differ greatly from East Yorkshire, e.g Hull.
