I have an Southern Californian surfer accent. Basically, I say dude and like alot. I personally like this kind of accent. Feels laid back to me.

It's different which ever Country I'm in In Singapore they say I speak English (UK) and in the UK they say I speak American The most annoying thing about people when I was back in School in the UK is that they like to repeat after me and copy my accent I can speak Geordie, however it's a rubbish accent

up until recently since i've moved to arizona, i never got any sort of "accent" comments from people. for all i knew, i just sounded similar to everyone else around me back in new orleans- plain boring american accent. not that i find anything wrong with having a different accent from the given locals, i just didn't ever think i had one. lately, i've gotten more "accent" comments in just the few weeks i've been here than the many years back in my native city(if i ever got any of those comments at all). many people have said it sounds like a mix of new york with southern/texas. i'm not complaining though .

Is a Singaporean accent a less strong American accent or do you slip in the odd 'lor/lah' at the end of your sentences?
I love the different UK accents e.g. Irish, Scotland, Welsh etc although I do admitedly take the p*** However, when I go to foreign countries (America is the worse) I am usually forced to say words like ''Bloody Hell'' ''My name is Harry Potter'' and ''shag'' ... are 'posh' British accents THAT funny?

hahahaha
my accent's really weird becuase my dad's from Chaaahlston, South Carolina, my mum speaks very poor English, I currently live outside DC, and I very recently moved from HK. So I pronounce words really strangely sometimes. But mostly I guess it's "Amurrrican"

So I pronounce words really strangely sometimes. But mostly I guess it's "Amurrrican" i can try and talk like the 'high-status' ppl in england... 'O Hello, why yes, I live in a haase (house)' I can try do the american accent too , ) wud be read like this; 'O (big O) hellO ("), why Yas (not yEs), aai live in....' My 'natural/normal' accent is the nz accent. And it's not auzzie.
