an update on that second piece I just completed, it's of Vietmunda/Sam Whoa!!! Amazing Soleil. Sam's a damn lucky guy. Well as I said in a previous post, whatever upcoming personalized cross-stitch needlework I'd do would be of close friends and family, and Sam is a dear close friend of mine. One of my cousins saw what I did with my previous works, liked what she saw, and asked that I do one for her. She was like my best friend growing up(still is, despite us not living in the same city for many years now), so of course I'd do one for her. I'm just starting on it

I tried needle point a few times and I dam nearly went mad I just have no patience for it and if I made a mistake and have to redo it I turned into the She- Hulk

Hi there Yingy, you're quite talented. Thanks for sharing your crafts with us. My favourites are the necklace, the FLY pillows, and the beret. If I was as talented as you, I'd seriously design my own unique wardrobe.

Wow that's awesome! I tried needle point a few times and I dam nearly went mad I just have no patience for it and if I made a mistake and have to redo it I turned into the She- Hulk thanks dear. In all fairness, it most certainly was no overnight process for me either. I started doing needlework some time in elementary or middle school, so it's taken well over a decade for me to get where I am now in that respect. Anyhow, going by what you've shown of your crafts, you've got quite some style yourself

I just began my next piece of needlework, and they'll be getting it too when I'm done an update on that second piece I just completed, it's of Vietmunda/Sam Hey just wanted to post the framed result. I finally found a frame a couple months ago, for just 3 bucks at an estate sale. It was the only perfect square frame in a box of dozens of frames, I measured it and sure enough it was exactly 7"x7" the size of the cross stitch. Finding a perfect squared frame was impossible in stores so it was a pretty lucky find. Sorry for the large image but wanted to show how crazy ironic how it matches the tiles in my place, if I took off the frame my face might as well be in the tile, lol. In anycase everyone that's seen it has been amazed by it... Thanks again Soleil!

I still can't get over the matching tiles part the fact that I had no idea how your tiles looked like prior to seeing this pic, just makes it all the more funnier ;D

^ My, my they are very beautiful, Yingy! (and I have an idea of who you are now. ;D) I'd say good luck at the show but I don't the imagine your pieces will have the need for it.

for Christmas, I was a bit empty on the wallet for presents for my boyfriend so with acrylic paints + air-dry clay - I made a model of him on his skates (his favorite activity) and a model of Cammy from Street Fighter since that's his favorite game/character I also made my close friend a model of us back when we cosplayed as Mario and Luigi - also for Christmas
