Happy thanksgiving, everyone who celebrates it! ORRRRRRR, if you're REALLY not a vegetarian... go for a Turducken: A turkey. Stuffed with a Duck. Stuffed with chicken. It swallowed the Duck to catch the chicken, it swallowed the chicken to catch the spider that wriggled and wiggled and jiggled inside her. It swallow the spider to catch the fly, I wonder why it swallowed the fly? Perhaps she'll die?

My harried sister dried out the turkey. My brother's daughter was smacking me on my bald head with a lego monster. My sister's daughter (1 year old) screamed any time I got near her. My brother's in-laws were telling the same boring stories I hear every year. My sister's son pestered me to fix his computer - I finally did that to escape my brother's in-laws. My brother-in-law followed me into the computer room and started telling me cop stories. There was only one escape: wine and faked narcolepsy.

It totally sucks having to work the day after Thanksgiving while the rest of the U.S. population goes out shopping for Black Friday savings.
Puh.

I went to a Mongolian restaurant for Thanksgiving. It was the only place we could find that was open.

Puh. totally feel ya on that one. ate a whole lot thanksgiving day...went to the bf's family's place and ate some, then he went over to my/my family's house for dinner. at my house we had turkey curry and stew, followed by cupcakes and sundae pie slices for dessert. don't know about you, but i work in retail(at the mall), and parking/traffic was a bitch. worked all day, didn't get off til late. i work the same hours tomorrow and the day after that. i'm gonna sleep real well.

Ouch, Gosh, i guess I can't complain after all, with you having to deal with mall parking and all. You know, it's only gonna get worse with Christmas shopping season here.... I actually work about 2 minute drive away from a mall. On Veteran's day I stupidly forgot that 80% of the U.S. population got that day off and decided to go into the mall to get some lunch. Took me 15 minutes to find parking I was furious by the time I parked my car. By the way, I thought mall employees would have some secret parking spots?

For people like me who were deprived turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (et al.) this year -- leftovers? Now you're just bragging How can you hate Thanksgiving food? Oh man. I normally love nibbling on that stuff straight out of the fridge -- cold or popping it in the microwave. Usually we go to my Aunt's in Virgina and we can live on the leftovers for at least a day or two afterwards. If you want to send that to Japan I'll see it's put to good use.

I even like it when the leftover turkey gets too dry from being in the fridge, or being microwaved too long, and it's like having homemade turkey jerky. So ghettolicious.
