So aside from all the different states you have been to, which would you never want to go to again. There are some crazy people in Utah... that is all I'm going to say I drove cross country last summer - in all about 8,000 miles across this great nation - and Park City, Utah was indeed one of my stops. Before crossing the state border I had to stop and pick up cases of beer in Colorado for my friend who was working and living there. Why? Because he wanted beer with alcohol content over the 3.2% limit or whatever it is in Utah. I didn't meet any crazy people there, that I know of. From all that I remember, Utah was aight. Partied hard in Park City. Driving across the Salt Lakes was wicked. And then really, really boring, yet also mesmerizing. I liked all the states I drove through, even Kansas and Nebraska. Despite living up to their expectations of being nothing but flat farm land, it still had a certain beauty to it. Great sunsets. But like the Salt Flats it can get old, fast.

^ It's definetely nice to get outta the city once in a while. I enjoyed road trips quite a bit and I thought I'd never say such a thing, since I love my TV, computer....etc. While traveling through Alabama, I sincerely thought that I was going to see at least one person playing banjo, or someone sitting in their front porch. Instead I saw heaps of trees that couldn't be any greener. It's was so beautiful I was glad to see it before I judge a whole state by its stereotype.

i've seen it,but for some odd reason i can't use anything but the original medicated ointment.everything else somehow makes my lips hurt and feel MORE chapped, just with wax on top.it's probably just habit,my lips used to get severely, disgustingly chapped when i was a kid,and the blistex was the only thing that worked.

I think you're right. My lips are accustomed to be moisturized by the Neutrogena lip balm. Any other lip balm I used just felt waxy and made my lips chapped even more. I think it's an addition. I use it like more than 5 times a day. I often think about if I was stranded on an island, first of I'd be miserable not because of lack of food or water but because of my dry lips. lol

I've come to the conclusion that just about every single Cali city of 150K or larger is about the same.
Of course the bigger ones are going to have sporting events and a few museums, but nothing really separates any of them from that. You'll have strip mall after strip mall, with the same stores (Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Carls Jr., Grocery Store, Baja Fresh, Panda, etc.), then you will have a main strip or 3 in the town where these shopping centers are located. Then you will have one or two teahters where most of the kiddies go. This theater is usually in downtown and they put the theater there to "revitalize the area" even though it will still be infested with bums.
In the town, there will be de facto segregation. Blacks, SEAsians, Mexicans live on one side of town (for some reason it is the West side a lot of the time). Then you'll have scattered area of blue collar whites. Then you'll have the wealthier area usually in the north side of town, where they are building new houses to the point where roads and schools can't support it. Whites, Indians and EAsians populate this area. Of course there are exceptions to the rule. tHIS side of town has the second best HS in town. The 1st best HS in town happens to be in the Ghetto area (blacks, mex, seasians), to attract the wealthier students to that part of town...where they end up taking over the school
Then you throw in a few sprinkles here and there and you have your average Central California city.

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! (National holiday)
I think I'll be spending President's Day catching up on my homework. I'm sure the presidents would approve.

You will only understand NASCAR if you watch it in the place of a redneck. Drink 25 cans of beer, and smoke some crystal meth. Now my friend, watch NASCAR and be enlightened.
