I think you'd all find it more interesting if you appreciated the physics of launching a car going near 200mph into a turn. All the cars racing are fairly similar, so a lot of comes down to the driver being able to read traffic, being able to draft well, conserving fuel and tires, and really just racing smartly -- for well over a hundred laps. With the possible exception of the speeds involved, isn't it the same as soapbox cart racing? I think I "get" NASCAR but what I don't "get" is the level of fanfare and pageantry. Dammit, now I'm cravin me some Applebee's!! ...... ah emmm co-ming fehr u reeckee boh-bee

Also, a lot of the fun is pre-race, where you're just hanging out at a friend's RV, shooting sh*t, bench racing, talking shop. Note to self: Groink hangs out at RV's. Hang out with Groink more! ;D

One of the better things about America: Girl Scout cookies. Especially Samoas. Not a fan of Thin Mints. Oh man, the Samoas, though! I wish I had bought more than one box. I agree........ my favorites are the peanut butter ones.

Just don't look at the nutrient content when you eat them though Mmm... coconut, chocolate....carmel... chewy and sweet... I bought 2 boxes this time, and was forced to "donate" one... T_T I cherish every bite of my samoa in my only box. BEST. COOKIE. EVERRRRR!!!

EVERRRRR!!! word! samoas seem to be the most popular girlscout cookie for some reason. i remember back in elementary school, i'd gotten "caramel delights" from a classmate of mine who was a girlscout, and loved them, but they were discontinued later on and the closest thing to them were samoas, hence my addiction with them. i bought 4 boxes of them, but my bf and brother, along with myself, we devoured them real fast. and yea, the time's all the same here as well(mountain time)

Coconut. Caramel? I think I'm going to make a tri-county visit the all the supermarkets in the area and shake down some Girl Scouts... Only two more....
