This year, my secret admirer left me a yellow book filled with various advertisements from most local businessses in town, in front of my door. In fact, I've been getting those once a year since the day I was born. Also, white clean cut guys with an occasional mexican and asian in the group, who wear white short sleeved dress shirts with ties riding bikes, knock my door to give me a bible that says 'book of Mormon'. I'm guessing it's some sort of gay sex book, since these are guys that are my secret admirers. I just have to tell them, 'sorry, I don't swing that way unless you had a vagina'. Thanks that was hilarious!!!!!

I never rejected her outright. I had actually seen her around school(this happened in hs) and thought she was kind of cute before, so everything was gravy until she did this really annoying thing where she held onto my umbrella and wouldn't let go, so I had to drag her around. It sounds cute the way I tell it, I guess you had to be there. That sounds like one of those neat moments in a nice rom-com. As for the subject of flowers...so lovely to receive! Secret admirers are cute too!!! I once had a secret admirer give me a candy telegram, but that was in my early high school years.

I got flowers from secret admirers once, but they weren't store bought. They were from my neighbor's garden and were left in a bunch on my doorstep. Later I found out it was more than one secret admirer, it was a bunch of them. A bunch of little neighborhood girls. Later they started to get more bold and would come give me flowers in person. I'm not sure what that was about, but it was sweet. that's such a lovely story ... I can't say that I've ever received flowers. In my goup of friends in high school I was (still am) the messed up looking one . I was a big nuisance to the boys who wanted to talk to my pretty friends. On Valentine's Day I'd receive nothing but dirty looks.Heehee.

The people delivering the candies (and notes) come into to your class and announce that there are "telegrams" for people, then you receive them. It's a cute concept, but pretty embarrassing in practice.

In high school my Homecoming date sent me 3 roses at my house.
And once my college boyfriend sent me Sunflowers. I love florists!

Whose elementary school? Certainly didn't happen in mine. Mind you, my high school was 8-12, so it encompassed the equivalent of middle school in most other places.

The poor guy couldn't satisfy his love for you I didn't have a choice. But if I saw him again, I'm sure we can solve that problem. (He!He!) ;D

I think the prettiest flowers aren't always natural. Some I've gotten were dyed brilliant aquamarines, pinks, and other hues not usually related to the species. I prefer not getting cut flowers. I guess I've been fortunate (?) enough to get gold plated flowers too, ie orchids. I don't like them. They make me sad.
