It seems to me as though girls seem to throw the label "creepy" around like sprinkles on ice cream. Ex. Some random totally creepy guy talked to me today. or So Andrew added me on MSN , what a creeper.
But it seems like if you put a British accent on said creeper he'd instantly turn into a charming guy in their eyes.
I have certainly heard some creepy stories from girls but plenty of times I find the term unnessissary.
I dont know why I'm posting this or what question I was gonna raise, I guess I'm just some bored creepy guy.
EAN what say you?

I guess this is why us British guys get laid like 50 billion times more than you others do, despite our lack of tact, crap teeth and propensity to get befuddled and flustered.

^ I'm just imagining YongFook saying that with a British accent. I think I'm turned on.
I think it's the same way people find a mixed person more appealing than a native person; it could be because an accent is exotic. It's as though an accent represents something different from what is heard from the norm. I definitely find an accent a lot more appealing because it's something I don't regularly hear. In that case, it's more interesting irregardless of what is being said by the person. LOL. Sometimes when I hear a person speak with an accent, I can't understand them, but they seem appealing because immediately an accent shows that they are not a local and could represent a person with more worldly experience/knowledge, or even sophistication depending on what accent we hear.
Now, imagine there are two men, one from Jamaica and one from Britain, talking to a girl: who will seem more charming? Does the origin of the accent play a role in man's likabilty/attractiveness?

Now, imagine there are two men, one from Jamaica and one from Britain, talking to a girl: who will seem more charming? Does the origin of the accent play a role in man's likabilty/attractiveness? Hm. I seem to think of it the other way. A lingering accent or improper tone is lack of proper exposure to whatever surroundings. Not desirable. Accents are also red flags for lots of opposition, misunderstandings, different upbringing, clash and probably a war of wills. I enjoy the relative anonymity. But it doesn't always work out... Funny story - some friends were in the car and I made a call to brother. There was silence in the car. Put down the phone and one of them asked "what the hell was that?!" I looked blank. And they said something about a very thick accent. Several occasions after it was confirmed that I have an accent sometimes, but take it off without thinking. There's 'family accent', 'excited accent' (apparently I have one when happy or excited), a south asian accent, and general voice. I didn't know until people pointed it out. Now that's creepy for you.

But to seriously address the first post, yeah guys tend to get that label a bit much by girls, but then girls get a lot of unwanted attention from random guys too. I think people tend to look for adventure in people that are different than themselves. Like the same british guy would be nothing special in the UK (ie. Yongfook).

^True. If a girl's attracted to you she'll more than likely find most of your behaviour charming.

...however odd it may be.
I draw the line at a guy wearing my underwear though.
