I think being mixed ethnicity we shouldn't discriminate who we date we should be open to different races regardless.. I would rather think the values of the person are far more important than their race. As many have mentioned before to date only Eurasian is being narcissistic, and you are limiting your range.

In my opinion human beings are all the same... "except that I'm racist and like to stereotype them in different groups and make stupid ignorant statements" I can debate this forever. Everyone has valid points to make. but this is my opinion and I'm untitled to it. yeah so what, I'm stereotyping based on experience, everyone does it......even when they deny it. don't anyone f***ing tell me you don't have preconceived notions of things (whatever they may be). because you would be lying. This thread is asking a personal question and I'm answering it personally. ha, and to say I'm racist, is ridiculous. HELLO! i'm EA too! The fact that I don't date EA guys is no skin off anyone's back. I'm sure after I've been talking all this s*** EA guys don't what to date me either. whatever. who cares? do you care who I date? does anyone else on the forum care who I date? I'd like to think not. so why does this even matter? why I am still defending my first thread?

Hey, preference for who you date is the one area where it is still ok to discriminate in my opinion. Nobody calls you a racist if you say you prefer blonds or big-booty latinas, or whatever. You could just say you are not attracted to EA types, and you shouldn't really have to defend it. While all people are entitled to courtesy and respect not everyone is entitled to get in your pants. I've never felt any need to discriminate and say categorically I would never date X but sure I have had my tendencies. And I agree with Tamy that we all generalize based on our personal experience and we all have preconceived notions. Hopefully this tendency is diminished as we get older and discover that physical appearance and racial characteristics are not a very good basis for making inference about someone's character and true nature, but getting older certainly doesn't change things if the physical appearance or racial characteristics are what attract us to a person in the first place.

In this case, she isn't talking about looks though. Just arrogance and vain tendencies that she's witnessed in EA men. And she's only talking about her experience and preference, not making total judgement calls. Anyhow, I think there's not much to argue with experience... Umm, except experience itself. If that's what she's seen, then she has a right to think a certain way. And the only way to convince her would be to see something else.

I actually don't think the other person's race should matter when dating. Although I live in a primarily Caucasian area, I do happen to have a crush on someone who is Eurasian like myself. I truly have no preference, though.
P.S. I resigned to take your poll for these reasons.

When you are drunk it doesn't really matter who you date or make out with. Jokes aside I'm a bit disappointed to see that even if I understand that it's natural to be attracted to other EAs, in some way it illustrates a conscious discriminatory behavior of other ethnic groups (ie absence of the other main ethnic groups besides W, A and EA in the poll). Which I dislike. I've never been around that many EA's over the years but it somehow kind reminds me of a similar mindset. History class can start . In the 60's France's colonial empire represented nearly half of the current African continent, so Europeans settled in North Africa for more than 3 centuries. After these countries were granted independence from France, the colonists and their families (known as the Pieds-Noir literally meaning Black-Feet, because most of them were mixing with the local Muslims though keeping a distinct culture from both Europe and Africa and obviously because Africa is mainly d welled by Blacks) returned to the homeland and some of them established communities in the south of the country, the weather/environment being somewhat similar to what they were used to. Celebrating their culture, intermarrying, segregating from the ethnic French and other ethnic groups. Bottom line, for me this website has cathartical benefits, through other's experiences, I live my own identity issues more easily. Moreover its an awesome way to celebrate different cultures. However I fear that somehow communautarism and racial hate could grow because of disappointing relationships with other racial groups and our own narrow-mindedness, idealizing our own ''race'' though I don't like the term much, something that would've been less likely to happen before we joined this board.

I'd like to think not. so why does this even matter? why I am still defending my first thread? You made a comment that stated ' I believe that all humans are the same'. Yet you make a comment that EA men are more prone to have 'issues', than any other man. Your statements contradicted. Your views of holding non-EA men higher than EA men makes you a racist bigot. You're a hypocrite when you make statements that you see everybody 'equal'. And by the way, being EA doesn't mean you can't be racist against EA's. I guess white men don't have issues. I mean, there have never been crazy white men in history. Napolean and Hitler were perfectly fine individuals and were the 'sure thing' Are you an EA version of uncle ruckus? www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pnXj1ppsx0

Well hell, I've never seen how an air jet engine works, so I might as well assume that it's magic right?

I'd agree, I mean someone could be drop dead gorgeous but if her personality conflicts with mine it won't work. So yea the chemistry has to be right also, not just the um physics or biology?
