An Uber Nasal Affectation?
She's from Florida and living in Pennsylvania. The east coast nasality is pretty apparent methinks. ?

She's from Florida and living in Pennsylvania. Magibon stalker!!!!!! have to admit, i've clicked on a few of her videos.... i get this slightly dirty feeling after doingso, but it's not enough to prevent me from clicking on her again oh, and here's my nomination for crap theme song for this thread PS - on her voice, i would have guessed without looking at her that she's from minnesota/n dakota (has a bit of that lull).... but when you look at her pronounce words, the misalignment and gaps in her teeth doesn't allow her mouth/tongue to carve out words as clearly as others.... giving her a bit of a lisp/drawl.

haha that song might work for Alex and Bahzad right now as well! Yeaaaaah even I feel dirty after seeing one of her movies... and then to hear her TALK about it. And to hear one of the Morning Mutsume girls laugh at her during another interview - I can't help but feel sorry for her. It's just SO WEIRD though. But hey, at least she got to go to Japan, even if it was sponsered by ... erm... Playboy.

I guess that must be it. The r's are softened almost into w's, and hard t's come out as d's. Maybe even closer to sounding like: ps: I like boxxy better anyway...

Just saw the first 20seconds of her video. There is something about her thats very unsettling. I think she has great potential as some creepy chick in B movie horror flicks

What if a haafu uses it? Then it's kinda like a "Wasabi my n*gga! " to another nipponjin. That's said... can I slur my races when I post in the "Post here when drunk" thread?

This could be a very interesting debate, on who could/should use those kinds of terms, if they are really 'reclaiming' them, if/when they are offensive, etc. The thing is, though, we've already decided that we're not going to allow those terms here as we don't want to (again) run afoul of Proboards' TOS.

Who is that girl in the video? Her voice is pretty...bleh...annoying. No offense -_-. But she doesn't look bad...And the other girl "Magibon", is she seriously 21 in that vid? Her first 2 pictures and the screen captures look so different lol.

Not many know of this. It is censored in some mmo video games too and I was like wtf at first and thought the games were racist to the Japanese themselves. Lol. It's not surprising to be surprised about this. =)

I guess "Jap" is something only Americans know about because of WWII. I also heard British people use the word "Oriental" to describe East Asians, which is often considered tasteless and borderline offensive here in the States. But apparently it has no offensive connotation whatsoever in Britain.
