right now i'm kinda going out with a guy who's a mix of iran-arab-indian-europe (but his europe blood's vague to him)..he has fair skin, dark brown eyes, black hair, long lashes (haha),a better nose than mine, and he is quite a sight he's 13 yrs older than me (i know,it sounds crazy ),so he thinks of marriage smtimes, which makes me think so as well,as bizarre and absurd as it may sound but yea well my imagination runs wild eheh anyway so whenever he mentions marriage,i think about kids..how would my kids look like if they were a mix of iran-arab-indian-dutch-german-portuguese-chinese-indo?? i'm just like, ppl would be confused if they looked at our children, they'd be like "where the hell does this kid come frm??" i hope the genes don't backfire, causing our kids to be ugly i'm just worried that if i marry someone of many mixed races (as much as i want to marry someone of mixed races someday, hopefully an EA/caucasian ;D),my kids are gonna be of totally mixed races and my descendants will be even more mixed and might experience an identity crisis or sth..i mean,as they become more mixed and mixed you know.. anyone ever think that?

What does it matter? Be with someone you love and love your kids.

Your profile says that you are 15, so going by what you wrote, your boyfriend is 28... Forget it, I can't be bothered typing up my opinion.

Not that I care to offer an opinion either way, but when you say "these days", you might want to check history. It was very common for people to get married (yes, sometimes by older spouses) by the time they were 13. Not betrothed, mind you (that happened when they were merely 5 or 6). Married.
Just saying. It's a little pet peeve of mine when people gripe about something, and always end it with some complaint about "the world these days". No, my friends. The human race has always been that f***ed up.

^ ouch, feeling some major age discrimination here. Nothing against melica. Just against the 28 year old cradle-snatcher who likes dating minors. Just be careful, OK melica?

Well, if you feel very mixed up, in a bad way, then you should reconsider. On the other hand, if you like having a diverse family and feel like it connects you more to the wider world out there and many different cultures and experiences, making you a broader and more interesting person, you should keep on mixing. Identity does not have to be grounded in race, as some people have mentioned above. It can be grounded in nationalism, politics, sports, language, religion, etc.
