kazakstan i would have never thought why so I also had someone from Kazakhistan approach me and ask me if I was from his country. When I first looked at him, I thought he looked a bit Burmese or Bhutanese or something, but he was sure that I looked like a fellow countryman. I have seen some Kazakhs in Xinjiang. I think that if you could mix Han Chinese, Mongol, Pakistani, Turkish and Eastern European, you would get a mix that approximates Kazakhs or other central Asian people. I think that greater central Asia Eurasia was populated by a group of Eurasian peoples, but they split into groups that moved East and groups that moved West. Through genetic bottlenecking, the Eastern Asian type and European type differentiated, but Europeans and Asians are more closely genetically related than either are to Africans or Australian Aborigines.

Kazakhs are EAs. I asked a filmmaker from Kazakhstan if Kazakhs considered themselves Eurasians and she said they do.

I'd guess probably Mongolia if you want to be technical about it. Recent history wise best bet is Hawaii or California. Although if you're talking about mixed people in general Florida is probably ranked number 1. I've never seen so many mixed people like I did in Florida. Worldwide..hmm I'd say South America, lots of race mixing there. I'm from NY which is a cultural melting pot and i have seen and met a handful of eurasians. I know more are out there and i would like to definitely meet more. But tell me where are most eurasians situated in the world?

In Kazakhstan, I'd imagine. Indeed Central Asia, Xinjiang, Iran, Caucasus, Israel and Turkey are an eurasian paradise

According to National Geographic that's true! www3.nationalgeographic.com/genographic/atlas.html

People have not mentioned India and Sri Lanka as foci for Eurasian populations. Many Eurasians have now migrated out of their host countries, so that I suspect the US is probably a major focus. I remember in the Philippines there used to be a Spanish language newspaper, radio programs, movies, more recent visits show that the Spaish element is on the decline and many of my Eurasian relatives and friends now live overseas. I wonder if this is true for other countries like Sri Lanka (Burghers) and India.
