i'm not dating so i know not what you speak I've notice the people that think of dating as some kind of 'power struggle' are the ones that are most apt to play such games. meanwhile many of the people i'd consider 'normal' are quite happily taken..

Well, seeing as no one is really sure what this thread is about, it's hard to say if the title is right or wrong (or hot or cold). Yes or no?

Sounds like plain and simple low level of interest to me. www.usatoday.com/life/books/excerpts/2004-09-08-hes-just_x.htmFeel that towards someone, you will leave. Feel that from someone, they will leave you. Feel that again from someone else, you will leave first - if you are the type who can learn and then are strong and sensible enough to act based on what you learned. It's just part of dating, which is not an exact science, but does seem to have some basic rules. Why go out with someone who isn't that into you? * This was meant as a general response and not targeted to any individual.

Better to be permanently cold, I think. Is it not better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all...? Or has love not got anything to do with it?!

^ Yeah, I think Paddy's on to something different.
Agreed - If you yourself feel hot & cold, have doubts, change your mind...just do everyone a favor and take off.
Re: Paddy - As far as "better to have loved and lost", that to means that you gave it your all and in the end it didn't pan out. Different deal.
...and as far as that "remix", ah, isn't that just Michael Sembello's "Maniac" with transposed lyrics? I guess that's a remix, sure. You don't often see that outside of rap.
